A Seminar

The “How To Minister” Seminar

1.      All seminars are held by invitation from your church or ministry.

2.      Because of the amount of materials that must be covered, three services are required.  We travel by auto as a family, with our four children, when asked to minister in the Southwest.  This includes New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and the western Texas areas.

3.      Outside of this geographical area, I, Jose, will come alone by airplane.

4.      In most seminars, the Lord leads us to have times of ministry, which include words of knowledge, prophetical words, and healings.  If your church desires for this type of ministry within the teaching times we can accommodate this.  If however you would only desire to have a straight teaching seminar, we will honor this as well.  Our vision and calling is to assist your ministry in receiving the greatest benefits during this time.

5.      We do not request honorariums or love offerings, but trust the Lord to speak to the hosting church as to what His will is.

6.       Our ministerial requirements from you the hosting church are room and board either in a motel or at one of the brethren’s home during our stay, and a roundtrip airplane ticket for Jose if he comes alone by airplane.

Thank you and God bless you!

An Overview of Faith in Ministry

We Must Live Through the Faith of God

Mark 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have  faith in (Have the “God kind” of faith, or the faith OF GOD!) God.

·         (God is in the genitive Greek case signifying possession; therefore it is “God possessing something”; in this case, “God’s possession of faith”)

“As Thou Hast Believed”

Matthew 15:28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

The Authority of Faith

Matthew 8:13  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Faith in the Perfect Tense

Matthew 9:22  But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

The Might and Ability of Faith

Mark 10:27  And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Mustard Seed Faith

Luke 17:5  And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6  And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

An Overview of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

·         Newness-recently made, new in kind, quality, substance and essence.  It is unused, unworn, unprecedented, novel, unheard of. This is not talking about age.

2 Cor 3:17  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is,(Location: sphere or domain)  there is liberty.

·         Greek: There, where the Spirit is, and ONLY within the domain and influence of the Spirit, EXCLUSIVE OF ANY OTHER LOCATIONS, DOMAINS, OR SOVEREIGNTIES, is there liberty.

The Condition of the Minister

1.      The Importance of Purity

2.      Personal Wholeness

3.      Dividing the Soul from the Spirit

4.      Spending Time With the Lord

5.      The Importance of Stepping out in Faith

Hebrews 4:2  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith

Hebrews 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

6.      Getting out of this World and Living in the World of the Holy Spirit

7.      The Goal of the Minister; Union With God

The Condition of the Recipient

1.      Absolute Repentance

2.      The Dangers of Delivering an Individual who is Not Repentant

3.      The Will and Desire to be set Free

4.      Unbelief, Disobedience, and Obstinacy

Learning to Minister by the Rhema Word

1.       The Word of Knowledge and the Discernment of Spirits

2.      God’s Expressions in the Word of Knowledge

The Ministry of Deliverance

Luke 4:36  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

·                 What type of word is this?  Because in the world of authority and God’s inherent dunamis power, which is greater than the inherent power in the unclean spirits, (He with a word,) militarily commands them, and they come out by their own means.  (In that the word had adversely affected them)

1.      An Overview of Generational Sins, Judgments, Curses, and Soul Ties

2.      Discerning and Gauging the Progressive Activity of the Demon in a Deliverance

3.      The Importance of Completing the Healing or Deliverance in the Natural and in the Spiritual Realm

4.      Understanding and Utilizing, The Sword of the Spirit, Rebuking, Binding, and Scriptural Confessions

The Ministry of Healing

1.      God’s Complete Provision for us to Minister in Healing

Matthew 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching (to proclaim with such an authority, formality, gravity of character, and the power of God, that people obeyed) and the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people( Miserable and ill)  that were taken with divers (Various) diseases and torments (Those being tormented, afflicted, and tortured by the acute pains of the diseases) and those which were possessed with devils( Demonized (a verb), and those which were lunatick,( Epileptic (struck by the moon)) and those that had the palsy( Paralytic) ; and he healed them.

Mat 10:1 ¶ And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

·        He gave to them as an accomplished event in the timeline of history (“a done deal”), authority (Absolute power of choice; total liberty to do as one pleases; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government) over spirits which are corrupt and defiled as to their nature, so as to presently and continually drive or kick them out, and to continually and presently heal every type of disease, sickness, and every infirmity, debility, and bodily weakness.

Mark 5:30  And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue( DUNAMIS POWER) had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

·         Fully and accurately knowing within (Knowledge by learning and experience) Himself, that out of Him (Jesus being the root source of the power) dunamis power had issued, flowed, and emanated out. This teaches us how we must continue to grow and learn about and become proficient in God’s power.

Luke 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

·                Lo, I presently give to you the authority to continually trample upon serpents and scorpions and crush them with your feet, and upon all the inherent dunamis power that gives to the enemy his life, and makes him into what he is; and absolutely nothing, in any wise, will hurt you (as to cause you to suffer spiritually).

Matthew 12:22  Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

Matthew 15:30  And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:

Luke 6:19  And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

·                 And the whole crowd sought earnestly, continually, and without ceasing to touch Him, because dunamis power (singular) continually and without ceasing issued, flowed, and emanated out, and continually and without ceasing cured all.

·        Therapeuo  (“Progressive or Instantaneous Healing”)

Mat 4:23 ¶ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people

24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

·        Iaomai   (“Total Instantaneous Cure”)

Mat 8:8  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

13   And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

·        Restoring (Apokathistemi); To Bring Back to What God Originally Set Down

Matthew 12:13  Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Prophecy and Prophesying

Principle of Prophesying

John 3:11  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know (We utter prophetically what we know instinctively in the Spirit in one moments time, and not as needing the acquisition of knowledge in the continuum of time), and testify ( but however bear acquired knowledge as with a prophetic vision) that we have seen (only when we see with discernment and understanding); and ye receive not our witness.

John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto ( My Father never ceases working in the Spirit) and I work.(and I work externally, using exactly the same procedures and in exactly the same manner in which I see instinctively the Father working within me.)

 ·        Worketh   is defined in exactly the same way that a company strives to be successful in producing the services for which it is in business for.

·        Hitherto: Until now. My Father has been continually at work, producing the services that pertain to the business of the kingdom of God in an unbroken flow, right through all of your Sabbaths; and even now as we speak, He works.

·        And I work:  I, in like manner.

·         Jesus tells us that we are to work out into the world, what the Father works into us with exactly the same intentions, intensity, and procedures used by the Father. Our ministry must be a carbon copy of the Father’s ministry in us.  Remember that every work of the Father is translated into a rhema word that we can understand.

John 5:19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth (To habitually glance at what the Father does in the Spirit.  This is not discernment with understanding) the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. ( Greek word “homos”

·        Glancing in the Spirit to what the Father does, gives us that momentary intuitive knowledge, which on many occasions, is enough for us to step out in faith and do with identicalness what we have acquired instinctively in our spirits.

·        Our right to do so is based on the fact that we have an equal inner spiritual nature to that of the Father, giving us identity with Him in our outward actions.  We are responsible to work with identicalness to what we see on the Spirit.  This is what the term “homos” means.

John 5:20  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

·        We have the ability to minister with God’s identicalness based on the different aspects of God’s anointing within us.

·      For the Father is fond of the Son and shows Him all things that He does in a way that can be proven and for proof, and greater than these works will he show you with the goal in His mind that you may wonder.

·        We must know that continually, at all moments, the Father is exhibiting within us all that He does in way that we can understand and confirm what he says, and then manifest it outwardly as proof into the world.

John 8:28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things

·        Ministry to be identical, to what the Father shows us can never initiate from us.  Look at the Greek scriptures and what Jesus was saying.

·        I do nothing of my independent and selfish self. As the Father has taught me I prophetically speak (or also minister)

Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion(Greek “corresponding to the word) of faith;(belonging to faith)

·        Prophecy is faith in one of its manifestation, this manifestation being in the “the word belonging to faith, or which is produced in the spirit as an expression of faith.

·                 Prophecy is God’s faith in the verbal expression of His rhmema word.  Therefore, prophecy is faith, and must be given by faith.

·        Prophecy therefore does not require our understanding, but a simple instinctive knowing of the “corresponding word” (proportion of faith), which God by His faith, or God’s faith, produced in us.

·        To the proportion that we hear or see the word is to the proportion that we prophesy.

1 Cor 13:12  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

2 Cor 4:18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

q       We contemplate and put our attention from moment to moment on what we cannot see with the physical eyes. For what is seen with our physical eyes have a short-lived and seasonal effect.  What is seen in the Spirit however has an impact that lasts forever.

1 John 1:1  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

·        Heard,

·        Seen with discernment,

·        Behold as a movie in a theater,

·        Felt, touched, and handled of the “Word of The Life” or the word which when ministered contains God’s “kind of life” and the operations of that life within it, to make the ministry operational.

The Importance of Prayer and Intercession in Ministry

 Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Romans 8:26 ¶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth( INTUITIVELY)  what is the mind ( FOCUS and MINDSET) of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the rhema word of God:

Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
