God’s Vision for Kenya; An Apostolic Nation

We, the Jose and Mary Alvarez
family, have been called, in God’s timing, to move to the nation of Kenya, in
the continent of Africa.

Fifteen years ago, the Lord
Jesus Christ called Jose to learn New Testament Greek and then led him to
meticulously study and research the pattern of the New Testament church, also
called the apostolic church, or the Bride of Christ, from scriptures.
·
In the year 2003 the Lord
called the Alvarez family to hold some of these conferences in Kenya, East
Africa. By faith, Jose sent E Mails to
pastors in Kenya, promoting the availability of the conferences in Kenya. A
host of invitations came back. The
Spirit of God narrowed down the list to three men of God in Kenya. Two are pastors, and one is director of a
Christian publishing company that not only serves Kenya, but a number of
African countries. This third man of God has opened the door to “ThePattern.Org”
to publish its teachings throughout the countries in Africa in which
his ministry serves.

In the ten days that we
ministered there were very impressed to see that in the handful of Christians
that we met from only a few churches, most of them have global callings to the
nations of the world, and a tremendous spirit of motivation and self-sacrifice
for the Lord Jesus to make it happen. These are essential qualities of
apostles.
· We taught two Bible conferences over a period of two weeks. One of the conferences was “The Apostolic/ Prophetic Conference”. During the first conference, the Lord Jesus began to speak to Jose about there being a “rich harvest of apostles” in Kenya. When Jose taught on apostles and called them forward, many pastors came to the altar. In retrospect, the most important point of our first trip was to assist ministers that are apostles to identify themselves by teaching, and then to be commissioned prophetically.

The apostle is the architect
of the New Testament church, or the bride of Christ. The year 2004 is a pivotal year. In our opinion, it is the year
that God began the great ushering of Christ’s second coming. Christ cannot come back until He has for
Himself a Bride that has prepared herself and is without spot and wrinkle. Without the apostle, this can never happen.
The apostle is divinely anointed to lay the foundation of the New Testament
church, which is Christ Himself, upon which each local assembly must build
accurately, without spot or wrinkle.

The vision that God has
given to us for Kenya is several fold.
Kenya is to be thoroughly taught in the foundation of the New Testament,
or apostolic church, through conferences that will be given from border to
border of this nation, and the establishment of Bible schools.

We received a vision from the
Lord that by our doing this, ten African nations including Kenya, Uganda,
Somalia, Tanzania, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Congo,
Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea will have their church raised up
apostolically and the apostles throughout Kenya and Africa raised up,
commissioned, and sent.

As Kenya becomes deeply
taught in the foundation of the New Testament church it will begin to impact
the whole continent of Africa. This is
because the apostolic church always brings revival wherever it is
situated. It only takes one apostolic
church within a city to bring revival to that city. It only takes one nation deeply founded on the apostolic church
to bring revival to a whole continent and eventually the whole world. (We suspect that not only Kenya but Africa is rich in
apostles.) God had wanted to impact the whole world from the small
land of Israel through the ministry of Moses and Joshua.

Secondly, the rich harvest of
apostles in Kenya has callings that we prophetically discerned to many nations
around the world. Once that these
apostles have been thoroughly taught on the foundation of the New Testament
church, God will release them globally to be the architects of the New
Testament church wherever they are commissioned. The church of Jesus Christ
will then prepare herself to be the Bride of Christ and usher in His Second
Coming by this global release of apostles.

The church in America has a
very unique position globally. First,
the Lord is identifying and raising up apostles in the USA and creating the
beginnings of apostolic churches within our nation. Secondly, the American
church is by far the wealthiest church financially in the whole world. The
church in Kenya, for example is extremely poor, financially. This is what hinders, in part, its rich
harvest of apostles to be released globally.
Because of a lack of finances, the church in Kenya lacks greatly in
scriptural resources to deepen its understanding of the Word of God. Few men of God in Kenya have heard of a
Strong’s Concordance. Fewer even have
the $20.00 needed to purchase one. The
American church likewise is the wealthiest church in the whole world in
scriptural resources. We are in a
position then to affect the church globally most powerfully, and hasten the
great ushering of the second coming of Jesus Christ.

What follows is our next
budget.

There is also an ongoing
need for Biblical reference materials for African pastors and large print
Bibles for the African elderly. We have had many requests for these items and
we assume that we will have many more.
Our Budget to Keya
Our second trip to Kenya is for Mary and me to research and set up
what we need in terms of lodging, legal inquiries, and transportation needs,
and then permanently move to Nairobi with our four children.
We are
currently raising money for this two-week venture and ask you please to
