How to Walk in the Spirit (PAGE 4)

Revelation 5:9  And they sung a new (kainos) song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Revelation 14:3  And they sung as it were a new (kainos) song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Revelation 21:1  And I saw a new (kainos) heaven and a new (kainos) earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Revelation 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new (kainos) Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 21:5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new (kainos) And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, (instrumentality) and in you all. (Domain and location)

·        Biblical baptism always entails the imbuement or submersion of one object into a second object. The submergence or immersion of the first item into a second item places the first item into the location, or inside the world or domain where the second item resides.

·        Once, within the sphere of the second item’s world, this latter one can now exercise its influence back upon the first one, even to the point of changing the first item to resemble it, by permeating it with its qualities and characteristics.

·        The effect of the second item working its effect and influence back through to the first item as it permeates it and changes it is called the instrumentality of the second object.

John 12:49  For I have not spoken of myself ( LOCATION: (Jesus is located within, or submerged into the Father) I absolutely have not uttered anything from my independent and exclusive self); but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment (The instrumentality of the Father working back through Jesus), what I should say, and what I should speak. (So permeated Jesus the Father, as to give to Him both the utterances and expressions of speech, and the content of the speech carried by them)

John 8;28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he ( I am) , and that I do nothing of myself (and that from my independent and exclusive self I do nothing); but as my Father hath taught me( but as the Father has instrumentally penetrated, affected, and influenced me) I speak these things (these things I utter and express prophetically, by that divine influence which has permeated me.)

Mat 10;19  But when they deliver you up, take no thought ( don’t try to figure out or speculate) how or what ye shall speak (how the expressions and utterances of prophetic speech will come out, or what their content will be): for it shall be given you in that same hour( in the very moment that you need it) what ye shall speak.(what you shall speak prophetically)

For it is not ye that speak (For it is absolutely not you expressing and uttering forth out by your own strength), but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in (instrumental BY) you

2 Cor 3:17  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is,(Location: sphere or domain)  there is liberty.

· There, where the Spirit is, and ONLY within the domain and influence of the Spirit, EXCLUSIVE OF ANY OTHER LOCATIONS, DOMAINS, OR SOVEREIGNTIES, is there liberty.

Gal 5:16  This I say then, Walk( The totality of our daily activities and the way that we conduct ourselves in them) in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (It will be impossible for you to fulfill the flesh’s strong desire through an act of your will.)

17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

·        For the flesh has a strong desire against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh and these are continuously set one against the other so that you cannot do the things that you would.

·        Wherever you live in the world of the Spirit it is impossible to carry out the temptations of the flesh for the Spirit is set against the flesh.   It is a place of freedom.

The Rhema Word

Matthew 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every RHEMA word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

John 17:8  For I have given unto them the RHEMA word which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

 Ephesians 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Ephesians 5:26  That he might sanctify (AORIST/ ACTIVE)) and cleanse (AORIST/ ACTIVE))  it with the washing of water by (IN THE SPHERE AND THE INSTRUMENTALITY)  the RHEMA word.

·        Sanctify – separate it from the common purposes of the word into the sacred purposes of God and then thoroughly clean the church.

Romans 10:17  So then faith cometh (EK) by hearing, and hearing by (DIA) the RHEMA word of God.

 Romans 10:8  But what saith it? The RHEMA word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the RHEMA word of faith, which we preach;

1Pe 1:25  But the RHEMA word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the RHEMA word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Luke 5:5  And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy RHEMA word I will let down the net.

Ephesians 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the RHEMA word of God:

·        The rhema word of God is the sword of the Spirit.

Luke 1:37  For with God nothing (RHEMA word) shall be impossible.

·        Every rhema word of God is powerful and capable

John 17:8  For I have given unto them the RHEMA word which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The RHEMA words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

John  15:7  If ye abide in me, and my RHEMA words  abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Ac 11:14  Who shall tell thee RHEMA words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Heb 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding ( BEARING) (PPP) all things by the RHEMA word of his DUNAMIS power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Heb 6:5  And have tasted the good RHEMA word  of God, and the powers of the world to come,

·        And of the good and noble RHEMA word of God have tasted and the dunamis power belonging to the coming age.

Hebrews 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the RHEMA word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

·        By the instrumentality of faith we mentally apprehend (PAI) that the ages were ordered, prepared and equipped (Perf. Inf) by the rhema word of God so that not out things appearing or visible, what is seen, have become. (Perfect)

·        What has become is from invisible things.

Joh 6:53  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

The Old Man and the New Man (Putting on Spiritual Body of the Glory of Christ)

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old (old in type) serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelation 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old (old in type) serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness , of life.

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness, of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new (new in type, kind, and substance), creature: old things (old in type) are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth (residing strength) any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new (new in type, kind, and substance creation,) creature.

1 Cor 5:7 ¶ Purge out (clean out thoroughly and completely) therefore the old (old in age) leaven, that ye may be a new  (youthful in age) lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Galatians 4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed (the same inward form as Christ)  in you,

Philippians 3:21 Who shall change (change the architectural plans of) our vile body, that it may be fashioned (into the same form) like unto his glorious body (the body of His glory), according to the working (energy) whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed (don’t take on the architectural form of the world system) to this world: but be ye transformed (as a caterpillar changes into a butterfly-metamorphosis)  by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured (metamorphosis) before them.

Vll Our Responsibilities in Becoming Free

a) Obedience to the Lord will set us free from the lies of the devil.

Mark 3:11  And unclean spirits, when they saw him(as in a movie theater), fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

John 14:30  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. (There is no relationship between the demonic and Jesus.)

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread (to trample & crush with the feet by advancing with the Lord) on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Mat 12:43  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

·          He travels continually throughout seeking an end of to the unpleasant circumstances” (because he has been cast out of the man), and in no way finds it (showing the necessity the demons have to posses a living being).

Eph 4:27  Neither give place to the devil.

·        Another version renders “giving place”, as our construction of a landing strip, or an airport runway on our very being, for the devil to land upon!

Ephesians 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh (being given energy) in the children of disobedience:(Christians and non Christians alike)

1 Cor 5:8  Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

2Cor 1:12 ¶ For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

2 Cor 2:17  For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ

·      In the above-mentioned three verses, we see that the word sincerity contains within its roots the word for “sun” and “judge” in the Greek.  Only a life of purity before the Lord will make us into a clear windowpane by which the rays of the sun or “The Son” can shine through.

b) Obedience to the Lord will set us free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2        For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

·        What is the law of the law of the spirit of life?  It is the law that brings the life and the blessings of God.  In other words, every time that we choose to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit we activate the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.  The law of sin and death is activated at any time that we choose to follow God in the flesh, through the law.

·        It is of vital importance for us that we comprehend, that the law of the Spirit of life in the person of Christ is more powerful than the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

3       For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

·        Wherever you live in the world of the Spirit it is impossible to carry out the temptations of the flesh for the Spirit is set against the flesh.   It is a place of freedom.

11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The Father and the Son as the Pattern for Living in Freedom

Matthew 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you (I with you am (present tense) always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

·        Christ, in His spiritual body of glory is always found in the present and immediate now.  God’s power will not be sent to us in the future At the moment that He reveals that these things are for us in a ministry situation they are forevermore and immediately there.

Mark 14:62  And Jesus said, I am (I am (present tense): and ye shall see the Son of man sitting(continually and constantly ruling and reigning) On the right hand of power, and coming (continually and constantly) in the clouds of heaven.

John 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came (Defined as :”Arrival” Christ is in a present and continuing and continual state of arrival ) from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

·        “Came” –To come in its dimension of arriving or arrival. Christ has arrived from God into our world, or more correctly because it is in the present tense, Christ is in a continuing state of arrival. As long as see God as doing things for us in the future we will never operate in miracles.

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.

John 10:38  But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

John 14:7  (AV) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in(Locative- in the world of) me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth   the works

John 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

John 17:11 ¶  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

John 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Greek: that the may be one in exactly the same way that you Father in me, and I in you…

John 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
