q Explain
the terms In Christ–(The book)
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us
up together, and made us sit
together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
q
FROM; OR OUT OF
John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If
God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I
of myself, but he sent me.
q
Explain In Christ (LID)
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit
of life in Christ Jesus
hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
q
THROUGH-(INSTRUMENTALITY)
2 Corinthians 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto
the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all
Achaia:
q
INTO
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that believeth on
me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these
shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
I
Tim 1:3 As I besought thee to abide
still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some
that they teach no other
doctrine,
2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast
heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
(Greek: Hold fast to the model of healthy or wholesome words, which thou hast heard from me.
·
Many of us can remember building a model
car or airplane. Once we had the model built we mounted it up high on a shelf
for all to see. We must likewise have
the Word of God as one of the primary models in our lives mounted high before
our eyes. This model of the gospel must be built out of something that is called
sound words.
·
“Sound words” is a medical term that means healthy or
wholesome. Sound words are healthy because they are true or are in accordance
with what is factual concerning the Word of God.
·
It is impossible for us to build a model
of healthy words that we can frame before our eyes to unless we know the Word
of God in truth or in accordance to fact. To know the Word of God in fact
implies that we must do some serious study of the Word before we can truly know
it in truth.
Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
· Incorruptness: Our knowledge of the Word of God must be so thorough that our teaching cannot be subject to the decay of time, error, or the opposition that comes from those that challenge our teaching. When we live in accordance to a model of God’s incorrupt doctrine, our doctrine will finally vindicate us even if the whole wide world says that we are wrong. The Lord will lift us up and put those that oppose us to shame.
· Incorruptness must stand the test of eternity in that an incorrupt nature cannot be subject to decay. Our knowledge and obedience to the Word of God will have an everlasting impact on our lives. Let us look at the following scripture;
2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:
·
Inspiration: All scripture is God breathed and is
therefore profitable for teaching
·
Reproof:
Intimate knowledge of the scriptures brings correction to us by exposing
sin and blind spots in our life. If we heed to the exposure brought to us
through the Word it will brings us freedom in Christ.
·
Correction : Correction here means to be restored to
an upright state resulting in salvation.
Do you notice the order? Reproof
brings exposure of sin. If we
heed we start to become free. As we become free the Word of God then starts to
restore us to an upright state.
·
Instruction: This talks about mentoring
and discipling and the final release into our ministry. Exposure, restoration,
mentoring, and call to ministry.
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all
good works.
Greek: The man or
woman of God becomes thoroughly equipped and furnished by the Word of God for
every Spirit led work; The man or woman of God is equipped and fitted with
every necessary piece of equipment by the Word of God for anything that the
Lord might have for him or her require to do.
·
When we
went to battle Sadam Hussein in the Persian Gulf in great part we won because
we were thoroughly equipped with the best of arms, technique, and
personnel. It is our deep knowledge of
God’s Word that furnishes us with the spiritual equipment necessary to
successfully carry out God’s holy missions.
1Tim2:4 Who will have
all men to be saved, and to come unto(INTO) the knowledge
(EPIGNOSIN) of the truth.
Philemon 1:6 That the
communication (fellowship) of thy faith may become effectual (ENERGES) by the
acknowledging (FULL KNOWLEDGE) of every good thing which is in you in Christ
Jesus.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free.
q
Jesus is
telling us, is the truth shall free us in the exact proportion to the accurate
understanding and performance that we have of it. Our misunderstanding of
scriptures through error, a lack of meditation or study, or because we have
turned them into a “doctrine of men” will not free us.
John 1:1 ¶ In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Greek: In the
beginning was the logos, and the logos was in fellowship and communion with
God, and God was the logos.
· With God: Not that Jesus was with God as one who was next or alongside Him,
but as one that is with God because He lives in continual fellowship and
communion with Him.
· The word was God. More
correctly, “God was the logos”.
Jesus, as God the Son, is first found in an eternal and continual
communion with God the Father, so He can then come to mankind as the logos
word, which translated and interpreted to us the conceptuality of the
Father.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
·
This one was from all
eternity is in constant communion and fellowship with God. (John repeats the theme of verse one to
emphasize the complete sufficiency of Jesus to assume the role of “God, the logos word” to
humanity.
· The word of God is comprised of the logos and the rhema
word. Both are absolutely essential in
furnishing us with the fullness of God’s knowledge and will, both as individual
believers and corporately in our churches.
The logos word defines God in general concepts and ideas to give us the
“big picture” of who God is.
q
The rhema
word is a moment-to-moment portion of the logos word uttered by the voice of
God’s Spirit and “tailored made” to equip us with God’s commands, guidance, and
the fulfillment of our needs in accordance to our specific circumstances.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the LOGOS (word), and the LOGOS(word) was
with God, and the LOGOS(word)
was God.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every RHEMA that proceedeth( from moment to moment)
out of the mouth of God.
Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded
of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and
said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say,
Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
·
Explain God’s need for a land
·
In the OT God desired to have a land, in this case Canaan from which His
kingdom could operate. Joshua’s commission was to drive out the evil
inhabitants of the land so that the land of Canaan could be cleared and the
uncontested rule of God could take place.
1 John 5:19 And we know that we are
of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
·
Today,
God does not have a land from where His kingdom’s works can be launched. The believer is His land. In proportion to how free the believer is,
defines the success of God’s kingdom.
The
Great Purpose of the Church
The church is the most
important human institution in the whole universe. It is the institution that
God has created to make Him visible.
This is the why God implemented it in the first place. He has none else.
1)The
church’s most important job is to bring forth the glory of the Lord into all of
the earth, and through out all eternity.
Ephesians 3:21
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen.
2)Glory is defined as the end product of the
invisible God becoming visible. The Lord accomplishes this through His Word,
His attributes, and righteous deeds.
Isaiah 40:5
And the glory of the
LORD shall be revealed, and
all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken
it.
3)The glory of God is of supreme
importance. Through it, men are ushered
into eternal salvation, physical healings take place, people are set free from
demonic oppression, spiritual gifts are displayed, and revival of cities and
nations that ultimately change civilization are started and carried out.
Mark 6:56 ....and as many as
touched him were made whole.
4) Civilization’s most essential requirement, and its most
desperate need, is to be capable of beholding an invisible God, who desires to
make Himself plainly evident, through Jesus Christ in His glory.
5)The
key to all of humanity’s needs, past, present, and future, lie locked in the
Person of Christ. To the proportion
that the invisible Christ becomes visible to mankind by His glory, is to the
exact proportion that all of mankind’s needs will be met and answered forever.
6) The church of Jesus Christ is GOD’S
ONLY UNIVERSAL HUMAN INSTRUMENT, which can make Him visible. Aside from His glory as seen in creation,
God has made for Himself no other avenue that will allow Him to become visible
in a real, personal and intimate way to people.
v Foundations
John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from( EK) God; neither came I of myself (exclusive and independent self), but he sent me.
q Greek: The apostle, or the
one on an apostolic mission, is birthed from God and lives continuously out of
God just as a tree must live out of its roots. Neither was Jesus apostolic
mission from independent and selfish self.
q The apostle lives out of the image of God as
a tree lives out of its root.
Galatians 6:15 For in Christ
Jesus neither circumcision availeth
(ischuo) any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Romans 2:2 And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed
(METAMORPHOSIED) by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
·
Jesus never
did or spoke anything, which originated from Himself. Everything He did, originated
from the Father, and was revealed to Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
·
Secondly,
Jesus never did anything that was exclusively His ideas, agenda
or timetable. Everything, which he
planned and carried out, was inclusive of what the Father desired.
·
Finally every action, which He took, and
every word, which He spoke, was in dependency to the workings of the Holy
Spirit within Him. The Lord Jesus never
acted independently from the Father.
Psalms 103:7 He made known his
ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
John
7:17 If any man will do his will( If any one out of His own will desires to
do God’s will) he shall know of the doctrine( Instrumental: teaching), whether it be of God, or
whether I speak of ( from
the edge of; the idea of separation or departure from) myself.( exclusively and independently from
myself as a source and from none other.)
·
Jesus never did or spoke anything, which originated from
Himself. Everything He did, originated from the Father, and was
revealed to Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
Secondly, Jesus never did anything that was exclusively
His ideas, agenda or timetable.
Everything, which he planned and carried out, was inclusive of what the
Father desired. Finally every action,
which He took, and every word, which He spoke, was in dependency to the
workings of the Holy Spirit within Him.
The Lord Jesus never acted independently from the
Father.
·
This
was the key to the Lord’s supernatural faith and miracle working power. The
fact that while on the earth, the Lord lived dependent, inclusive, and
originated everything with the Father, shows us the depth of Jesus life in the
world of the Holy Spirit.
·
This is what Jesus means when he tells us that He does
nothing from Himself.
·
To the degree that we do not seek ourselves as the ones
from whom anything originates, and then carry it out independently and
exclusively from God, will automatically live in the teaching of the Father.
John
8;28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I
am he ( I
am) , and that I do nothing
of myself (and that I do nothing independently and exclusively from
the Father); but as my
Father hath taught me( but as the Father has instrumentally
penetrated, affected, and influenced me) I speak these things (these things I utter, express, and
speak prophetically, by that divine influence which has permeated me.)
John 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me ( Greek: apostolic sending), and I live by (THROUGH) the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
q
q
Greek: The apostle or the one sent on an apostolic
mission lives moment to moment through (INSTRUMENTALITY) the Father, who does the
works.
q
Through:
Talks about instrumentality
1 Corinthians 4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world,
and to angels, and to men.
Hath
set forth To
expose to view; or to exhibit
Last in receiving
honor, last in being recognized by men and by the body of Christ, last in being
raised up by Christ, and smallest in importance and in the estimation of
men.
Appointed
to death: Greek: Upon the death “Doomed
to die”
A
spectacle unto the world.
q Briefly mention the fellowship of the mystery and the seal of the
apostleship.
2Cor 4:12
So then death worketh
(ENERGIZED) (PRESENT
MIDDLE INDICATIVE) in us, but life in you.
·
The death of
Christ is as an “energy dynamo” within us that never ceases but always
works. We are always being handed over
to death, so that the very life of Christ can be like wised energized for the
sakes of others. Most of us put limits
on how far “God can take us
· Death is actively energized and efficient
in us.
· It
is always mighty in the apostolic workings.
This death is for the benefit of others
·
2
Cor1:9 But we had the sentence of death in
ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the
dead: (Literally
Paul asks, “Am I going to save myself
by earthly efforts?
·
My answer
is NO!! I MUST DIE!! ONLY IN CHRIST AND
THROUGH CHRIST)
· It is a
judicial sentence of death. “An official resolution that stamps a matter as
done.’
· Whether on asking myself, should I die or
whether I should come out of mortal peril, I answered, “I must die”.
· It
is a judicial sentence of death.
·
To trust in God who is
raising the corpses.
I Cor1:1
¶ Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, (INSTRUMENTAL) and Sosthenes our brother,
q
An apostle is divinely summoned and divinely appointed ambassador
belonging to Christ Jesus. The
formation of the apostolic office comes as the apostle learns to do everything
through the will of God.
q
An apostle is the product and a vessel of God’s will, ways
and timetable.
q
The apostolic office is not a ministry, which one chooses for
himself or is conferred upon by men. It
is a divine willed by the Lord. He is
divinely picked and divinely sent out and his life is result of the will of the
Lord.
q Hence the apostle can have a traveling
ministry, and belongs to the body of Christ at large. He or she might not be
called to be a member of one particular church but belongs to and embraces the
whole body of Christ.
Gal 1:1 ¶ Paul, an
apostle, (not (OUK) of men, neither by(INSTRUMENTAL) man, but by(INSTRUMENTAL) Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from
the dead;)
·
In absolutely no way from the calling, ordination or authorizing
of men. No through their assistance, support, influence, or the open doors that
man can provide. Paul, an apostle
not from men as a source. Not raised up by men but by Jesus Christ
v Thusly the apostle is never
intended to please man outside of God’s will, but to
please God who chose and raised him up.
Not pleasing man, but a bond slave of God.
q
sent out and his life is result of the will of the Lord.
Eph 1:1 ¶ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ (GENITIVE, BELONGING TO JESUS CHRIST) by(INSTRUMENTAL) the will of God, to the saints, which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
q An apostle by the agency, influence, and the open doors willed by God.
2Tim:1:1 ¶ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by(INSTRUMENTAL) the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
v With the promise of resurrection life goes the provision for its
proclamation.
v Hence the apostle in proclaiming Christ’s power and life must be an ambassador of the life of Jesus. In other word he or she must live in the resurrection life of God, which comes forth from the death of Christ’s cross, which has touched everything in their lives.
v With the apostolic proclamation of the
resurrection life which is in Christ Jesus there it the promise and ability for
us to live in this quality of life right now?
This is fellowship of the mystery.
v The apostle can only proclaim the life of
the resurrected Christ to us to the degree that he lives in it.
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation (LID) of the apostles and prophets, (GENITIVE) Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
20 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
·
ONLY ONE ARTICLE THUS always categorizes apostles and prophets together.
Numbers 3:16 And Moses numbered them according (at) to the word (Heb: mouth) of the LORD, as he was commanded. (Pual
(passive of Piel) perfect.)
Numbers 3:39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron
numbered at the commandment
(Heb:
mouth) of the LORD, throughout
their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two
thousand.
Numbers 22:35 And the angel of the LORD
said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak( Piel verb form ) unto thee, that
thou shalt speak(
Piel verb form). So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.
1.
The Piel
verb form is used in what the Lord gives to the prophet, and likewise in what
the prophet speaks out. The Piel verb form illustrates intensity and
emphasis. One Hebrew grammarian defines
it as busying ourselves with a certain action. The prophet consumes him or
herself with the spoken word of the Lord and is responsible to speak out that
word with the same intensity of emphasis in which it was given to
them. We shall see more of this in our
study.
2.
There must always be three
dimensions to every prophecy. First
every prophecy must be given without in the accuracy of the rhema word
that is discerned within one’s spirit. Our responsibility is to speak out as
faithfully as we see it. The Lord will
then give us clarity in the situation.
3.
Secondly, is the dimension of
discerning the intent of the Lord’s heart in the word given to
us.
4.
Thirdly,
the prophet must give the word with the same intensity or emphasis,
which the Lord gave it to him or her.
Sometimes, the prophet is to give the word with great compassion and gentleness,
other times there is the tone of admonishment or warning behind the voice of
the Lord
Hos 12:10 And I have spoken( Hebrew: Piel verb) by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and I have used similitudes by the ministry of the prophets.
· Here we find the same Hebrew “piel” verb form describing intense and
emphatic action. As we said before, it
means to busy or consume ourselves with a certain activity.” Thus, this verse tells us that the spoken
voice of God is best heard and understood through the prophetic ministry.
1 Kings 6:19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set
there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
1 Kings 6:16 And he built twenty cubits on the sides of
the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built
them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
Acts 7:38
This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel
which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to
give unto us:
1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak,
let him speak as the
oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability
which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
q
The
oracle of the Lord in the Old Testament was sometimes used to
describe the Holy of Holies, or the most inner room of God’s temple where the
Ark of the Covenant resided. The Ark of
the Covenant is symbolic of the very presence of the Lord, revealing His very
essence, and thus testifying to or giving witness of the Lord upon the
earth. This is why it is also called
the Ark of Testimony.
q
The word oracle
in the Hebrew comes from the Hebrew root for “word;”. The phrase “the word of
the Lord” uses this very same grammatical formation.
q In the New Testament an
oracle is a concise and brief prophetic utterance.
q Hence when the prophet
speaks the “word of the Lord,” he or she are declaring forth the oracle, or the
testimony of the Lord, and manifesting the presence of the Lord through the
spoken word with as much accuracy as is found in God’s presence in the Holy of
Holies.
Num 22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the
servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I
cannot go beyond ( pass over or cross over to the other side
of; like crossing over a river ) the word ( Hebrew: the mouth) of the
LORD my God, to do less or
more.(to do the insignificant or what is great.)
19 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
38
And Balaam said
unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power(dunamis) at all(dunamis)
to say (intensive) any thing? the word that God putteth in my
mouth, that shall I speak ( intensive verb).
q Hebrew: The only power that I have, is the power to speak the word of God. The word that God puts in my mouth I must speak as accurately and as emphatically as when God gave it to me.
·
The Name or
the rhema word is in the LID.
Mat 21:9 And the multitudes that
went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David:
Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Spiritual
principle- As long as we come out of our own obedience (present middle participle) in the Name (or in strict accordance to the voice, and will, and the
restrictions of the Lord) we remain in
a state of being continuously blessed. (Perfect)
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church,
and gave himself for it;
Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with
the washing of water by the RHEMA WORD.
·
The church
will only be purified and made holy by the revelatory word of God. The rhema is what washes the bride of Christ
and heals and restores it. Let me ask
you a question. If the flow of
spiritual gifts is curtailed in our congregations, and the rhema is quenched,
how will the church ever be washed and made holy? Pretty serious stuff!
1Sam 10:6 And the Spirit of the LORD will
come upon thee, and thou shalt
prophesy
(Hebrew: reflexive verb; You will be able to prophesy by your
own capabilities and actions once that the Spirit of God has come upon you)
with them, and shalt be turned
into another man.
q
Prophecy, which is
received, can turn an individual or church into a different person or body if
those individual or church welcomes it, believes it, and acts upon it. Belief and obedience to a godly prophecy
will bring God’s will and circumstances to bear upon that individual or
church. Their course of life will be
radically altered and blessed by the Lord in accordance to the prophecy, making
the church into a different church or the person into a different person.
Romans 16:25 ¶ Now to him that is of power to stablish you ( MAKE YOU FIRM ANS SET YOU IN PLACE) according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets ( THE PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES) according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
·
Greek: The prophetic scriptures ( or by the same token, words of prophecy)reveal the Person of Christ who dwells
within us in a mystery form. Christ
must be preached in this way. The
revelation of both His Person, and the gospel, is what establishes us in the
faith. The reason why Christ is
revealed through prophetic preaching is to cause the nations to become saved
and to obey Him. This obedience is one,
which is by faith.
·
God has the ability to strengthen you, and to make
you firm and fast in your faith, (by my gospel and the preaching of the Person
of Jesus Christ) only in proportion to the revelation of the mystery (which is
the revealed Person of Christ.)
John
17:8 For I have given unto them the RHEMAS WORDS which thou
gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and
they have believed that thou didst send me.
·
This scripture supports the vital importance of spiritual
gifts. The revelatory words of God make
manifest the Christ to the world. Christ today dwells in glory. Glory is what makes the invisible Christ
visible! How we need the full
manifestation of spiritual gifts in our churches for the full manifestation of
Christ. What a ploy of the enemy it is
to shut them out, or to tell us that they are not needed today
Ezr 5:1 Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and
Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied
unto the Jews that were in Judah and
Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.
Ezr 5:2 Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at
Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping
them
(supporting, sustaining, encouraging, and exhorting).
q
The building
of the house of God must be always done in part through the ministry of the
prophets.
Ezra 6:14
And the elders of the Jews builded(they
were building), and they prospered(and
succeeding) through the prophesying of
Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and
finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according
to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
q
Building and successfully
completing the house of God can only be done in part through the ministry of
the prophets.
The
Progressive Knowledge Anointing
John 15:15
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his
lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard (AORIST) of my
Father I have made
known(PROGRESSIVE KNOWLEDGE; AORIST) unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.
·
he will guide Guide as a
teacher; show the way and instruct
·
you into all truth : More accurately:
Into every type of truth that pertains to us.
·
but whatsoever he shall hear; as many things
that He will hear, all these He will utter or declare . (The confidence of
the prophet)
·
and he will shew you things to come. The
prophetically coming things the Spirit will rehearse and makes known to us.
(The confidence of the prophet)
The Intuitive
Knowledge Anointing
1 Cor 2:10 But God hath revealed them( taking the lid off) unto us by his Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth(sounds out) all things, yea,
the deep things of God.
1 Cor 2:11For what man knoweth the things of a
man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the
Spirit of God.
·
The Holy Spirit has a perfect intuitive
knowledge of the things of God
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of
the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are
freely given to us of God.
Because we have received the
Holy Spirit we have the same ability to have a perfect intuitive knowledge of
every thing that God has given to us graciously and freely.
John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth
him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than
these, that ye may marvel.
·
For the Father is fond of the Son and shows Him all things
that He does in a way that can be proven and for proof, and greater than these works will he show
you with the goal in His mind that you may wonder.
·
We must know that
continually, at all moments, the Father is exhibiting within us all that He
does in way that we can understand and confirm what he says, and then manifest
it outwardly as proof into the world.
1 John 2:20 ¶ But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all
things.
q
You have an
continuing unction from the Holy One and know intuitively (in the same way
that God does,) all type of things.
21 I have not written unto
you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is
of the truth.
q
Rehearsing
exactly the same point as the above scripture
1 John 5:20 And we know that
the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know
him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life.
q
In giving us
the mind of Christ we now have the same understanding, ideas, opinions and judgments that God has.
Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Greek: It is He who
gave some to be
apostles, and some
prophets, and some
evangelists, and some
shepherds and teachers.
q
Apostles are placed first and prophets second. One class of people
q
Pastor and teachers,
which are really not two separate ministries but one class of people operating
both; (in that a pastor must also have the anointing to teach his congregation), Another class of people
q
House
churches?
q
Evangelists
q
All ministers and ministers are of
equal importance.
When they operate under the leading of the Holy Ghost, they complement
each other to bring the fullness of
the glory of the
Lord Jesus Christ into the earth.
q
These lists of
ministers and ministries are not describing RANK and
IMPORTANCE
but EMPHASIS
and STRESS.
q
The EMPHASIS and
the STRESS
on the New Testament church must be the apostolic and prophetic ministries, and
not administrative.
q
The main responsibility of New
Testament church governments is to administer and conduct the apostolic and
prophetic ministries (which includes
the evangelist’s miracles ministry manifesting itself in signs and wonders) within the local assembly.
·
The
apostolic/ prophetic emphasis reveals the Person of Christ, into which the
local body grows up into in all things. The timing and the will of God.
·
The present administrative emphasis reveals
things instead of Christ, and has caused the church to grow lopsided into
blessings, prosperity, fleshly confessions, and miracles.
·
The apostolic anointing must function on
the fact that ministry is not to be placed in the hands of a few but in the
hands of the body. The fullness of the
Person of Christ Jesus can only be revealed by the fullness of the ministries
of the whole body. Hence the house churches or the church as a school.
·
Leaders in
the current apostolic movement are delegated by the Lord to supervise and
guide, never to control. Their job is to discern what the Lord wants to
accomplish through the many members of the local body, and maintain the
integrity of the anointing of the Spirit as He commences and completes His work
by revealing the Person of Christ through the different ministries. One way in which the apostolic covering
maintains the integrity of the revealed Person of Christ is to instruct the
body to use their ministries strictly in accordance to the rhema word of God,
which is the voice of the Spirit operating within each of them. When a local body is operating in accordance
to the Spirit’s wishes, we see different ministries all latching on and
ministering upon the same one rhema word.
MYSTERIES
AND REVELATION KNOWLEDGE (APOSTLES AND PROPHETS)
Eph
3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge(UNDERSTANDING)
in the mystery of Christ)
Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open
my mouth boldly, to make
known( PROGRESSIVELY KNOW) the mystery of the gospel,
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ:
Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid
all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians
1:27 To whom God would make known what
is the riches of the glory
of this mystery
among the Gentiles; which
is Christ in you, the hope of glory: {in: or, among}
Ephesians 3:8Unto me, who am less than the
least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the
Gentiles the unsearchable
riches of Christ;
·
Mysteries
are the doctrines of God’s patterns and administrations of His kingdom, will and counsels. They are brought to life through revelation
knowledge, and display the scriptural patterns or the economy of God’s
kingdom.
v
Christ also dwells in a mystery form within us. Within Him dwell of God’s
riches, treasures and blessings. As He is revealed out from a mystery form all
of these things are revealed along with Him. As we have discussed before, the Person of Christ contains within
Himself all of the treasures and riches of who God is, and of what He
possesses. These treasures, the Greek
scriptures tell us, are undetectable, un- searchable, and unreachable through
all of our fleshly efforts. Only
through a spirit of revelation into the mystery of the Person of Christ can
these treasures be manifested out to the body through the preaching of the
gospel. The purpose of this revelation is to make every one else within the
local body aware as to what is their part, participation, share, and calling
into the riches of Christ is.
·
These
treasures, the Greek scriptures tell us, are undetectable, un- searchable, and
unreachable through all of our fleshly efforts. Only through a spirit of revelation into the mystery of the
Person of Christ can these treasures be manifested out to the body through the
preaching of the gospel.
·
The
apostle and the prophet both reveal FROM A MYSTERY FORM, the wisdom of God, and
the Person of Christ in whom all of God’s treasures and riches dwell.
Romans 15:25 ¶ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
·
Greek: The prophetic scriptures ( or by the same token, words of prophecy)reveal the Person of Christ who dwells
within us in a mystery form. Christ
must be preached in this way. The
revelation of both His Person, and the gospel, is what establish us in the
faith. The reason why Christ is
revealed through prophetic preaching is to cause the nations to become saved
and to obey Him. This obedience is one
that is by faith.
·
God has the ability to
strengthen you, and to make you firm and fast in your faith, (by my gospel and
the preaching of the Person of Jesus Christ) only in proportion to the
revelation of the mystery (which is the revealed Person of Christ.)
·
Christ is revealed through the
prophetic scriptures (prophets and prophecy reveal Christ) by the commandment
of the everlasting God. This revelation
of Christ is made known unto all the nations so that Christ may be obeyed by
faith.
1 cor 2:7 But we speak the wisdom (
PROPHETICALLY UTTERING) of God in (LID) a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained
before the world unto our glory:
·
We
are uttering God’s wisdom, will, ways, and timing, in the sphere of a mystery
or by means of a mystery
1 Cor 3: 10 According to the
grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder (ARCHITECT OF THE WILL, WAYS, AND
TIMING OF GOD), I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth
thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
FULLNESS, THE INHERITANCE, AND
THE RICHES
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8
Wherein he hath abounded toward us ( INTO US) in all wisdom and
prudence;)
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us (ACCUSATIVE)
with (LID)
all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
· The church is viewed as a receptacle into which all of
the blessings, the presence of God, and God’s inheritance, through Christ is
funneled into, IN A MYSTERY FORM to be manifested into the world as glory.
Ephesians 1:19 And what is the
exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward(INTO US) who believe, according to the working of his
mighty power,
John 1:16 And of his fullness
( The essence, content, attributes, and qualities that makes God to be God,
exclusive of anything else) have all we received ( Aorist past tense) , and grace for grace. ( and one act of God’s labor following at
the heels of the act that God just
accomplished.) (TO BRING FORTH AND ENERGIZE THROUGH HIS ENERGY
THIS FULLNESS)
Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the
Father that in him should
all fulness dwell;\
Ephesians 1:23 Which is his body,
the fulness of him
that filleth all in all.
·
Mysteries
are the doctrines of God’s patterns and administrations of His kingdom, will, and counsels. They are also the Christ and the riches,
blessings, and treasures, of God deposited inside of Him.
·
They are manifested through revelation
knowledge, and glorify or make God visible.
·
God has
deposited IN THIS MYSTERY FORM, His fullness, or His inheritance within His
saints.
·
Through revelation knowledge this inheritance
becomes revealed and becomes one of God’s riches within us. The revelation of a
mystery is our understanding of a portion of God’s inheritance. We carry out
the riches of God into the external world through spiritual gifts, making any
one of His riches visible in the mode of glory.
8
Wherein
he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
·
Wisdom has
to do with God’s will, ways, and timing.
Prudence is carrying out this wisdom “in the Spirit.” God’s labor in us
produces His will, His ways, and timing.
Prudence causes us to walk step by step in Christ’s labor. This is termed to walk in the Spirit.
The normal mode
of God’s labor in us as we walk in prudence is to produce abundance and
superabundance. In proportion to how we
follow Christ’s labor in us in wisdom and prudence is the same proportion we
will live in the realm of “SPIRITUAL
AND NOT USUALLY MATERIAL” abundance and superabundance. This is the normal mode of God’s operation
Eph 1:9 Having
made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good
pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
v
God has
funneled all of the riches of his grace into us, and then makes known and
manifests this mystery through the church so that the fullness of the God’s
glory may be manifested through the church.
q The revelations of riches are limited by
operation in wisdom and prudence.
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are
on earth; even in him:
·
The purpose
of manifesting God’s glory to the universe through the church is that God may
be progressively known, as the church walks in prudence, by the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation, so that in this knowledge of God by the church, He might
gather in one all things in Christ.
·
A dispensation is defined as the administration
or the management of a house or property.
In God’s management or administration that focuses on the fullness of
times, He will sum up all things into and for Himself.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches
of his grace;
Part of this favoring can occur because we
are experiencing a continual redemption.
Redemption is defined as a “releasing of slaves by the payment of
a ransom.”
·
The ransom
money is the blood of Christ. The forgiveness
of sins the actual sending away or discharge of our sins. In the sending way of
our sins, our condition becomes as if we have never committed them, since they
are now far away from us. Thus we the
penalty for our sins likewise has been remitted. We become the beloved of God
because in the eyes of God we are sinless.
·
The grace,
or the labor of Christ in us which allows us to be a fit and equipped vehicle
that displays His glory to the universe, and makes God known, can occur because
we have been graciously favored in His beloved Son, or in the Son of His love,
Christ Jesus. Because we are in the Son of His love, likewise God loves
us. Because we are loved, God can favor
us with this type of labor and display of His glory.
·
God’s
superhuman labor, also termed as grace, takes from His inheritance in us, which
is His fullness, reveals it from its mystery form and displays it via spiritual
gifts through us as His riches.
·
Praise is
produced through mankind back to God of the glory manifested through the saints. Glory is the God’s mode to make His riches
becoming visible. The ultimate purpose and calling of the church is to make God
and His riches visible.
·
Different riches are manifested through the
different operations of God. Operations
are effective displays of God’s power through the believer to effectively
transfer the riches from inside the believer to the external world in
accordance to the specific ministerial circumstances.
·
The
transferred riches, which inside the believer were part of God’s inheritance in
a mystery form, now empowered externally by the operations of God are made
visible as the glory of God.
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY AND THE SEAL OF THE
APOSTLESHIP
Titus 1:1¶ Paul,
a servant of God, and an
apostle of Jesus Christ, according to
the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
(Greek: ...
and an apostle of Jesus Christ,
according to the faith
of God’s elect, and the full
knowledge of the truth..
v
The
apostle and the prophet’s anointing is to reveal the mysteries of God in the
following fashion.
v In accordance
with the faith of God’s chosen out ones as a precise and full knowledge of the
truth, which is in accordance with piety towards God.
v The apostle
leads them into the accurate discernment, recognition and participation of the
truth, which belongs to and harmonizes with and produces godliness. The apostle must live in that accurate
recognition and participation of the truth.
v
Through this, the apostle stimulates and promotes the faith of God
towards His chosen ones. The
stimulation of this faith is to make others thirsty for the Son of God and not
just simply for the blessings, prosperity and other things that come from God.
Romans1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship,
for obedience to the faith among all nations,
for his name:
· The apostolic ministry promotes obedience
to the gospel, and through it makes disciples amongst all the nations.
· True apostleship can only begin with the
revelation of the mysteries of God’s government as well as the Son of God. This is because for every individual, the
revelation of the Lord automatically carries with it the treasures, and riches
of God residing in Christ as well as our callings, ministries, and giftings for
each individual person. All resides in
the Son of God.
Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all
saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ;
9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus
Christ:
1 Corinthians 9:2
If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship
are ye in the Lord.
v As the disciple begins to grasp whom he
or she is IN CHRIST, the apostle introduces the fellowship of the mystery;
assisting the disciple to discover his or her office, callings, and spiritual
gifts so that the disciples in turn can do the work of the ministry, in
accordance to the revelation of God’s mysteries.
v
True promotion of faith by the apostle is to reveal the Son of
God, and give the saints the knowledge of what is their participation,
ministries, and callings into the riches found in the Son of God whom the
apostle has just revealed to them.
v The revelation of the
mystery of the gospel, as well as that of the Son of God by the apostle, must
have enough richness so that believers within a local assembly can understand
what is their participation and levels of involvement into the unsearchable
riches of the Son of God, which are Jesus callings, giftings, and ministries to
them; Hence the fellowship of the mystery
v As His
representatives, apostles are called to be a portrait or a painting of God’s
ways, will, and timing upon the earth.
The Lord allows the apostle to go through the humiliating and
frustrating circumstances of being last so that he is whittled away from all
that does not represent the voice of the Lord, His ways, and His timing.
v
The apostle not only reveals the mystery of Christ,
its dispositions and arrangements but also teaches others how to participate
according to their calling into this mystery.
v It comes to say that the apostle is used within church to bring the church
into the comprehensive participation of what that it has been called into.
v The
seal of apostleship is defined in these two ways. The believer as mentored by the apostle, is
first brought to a place of adequate spiritual freedom as he or she grasps the
liberty brought to him or her by the revelation of the mystery of the gospel,
as the apostle teaches it.
THE PURPOSE OF THE BODY
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us (ACCUSATIVE)
with (LID)
all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption
through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his
grace;
8
Wherein
he hath abounded toward
us(INTO US) in all wisdom and prudence;
Ephesians 1:19 And what is the
exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward(INTO US) who believe, according to the working of his
mighty power,
·
The
church as His body
John 1:16 And of his fulness have
all we received, and grace for grace. (ONE ACT OFLABOR UPON ANOTHER ACT OF
LABOR)
Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the
Father that in him should all fulness dwell;\
·
Spiritual gifts are used to take portions of God’s inheritance that we
now know as His riches, energize them by means of His dunamis power, and make
them visible as riches in glory. The fullness of God, which God now deposited
in the saints, becomes the inheritance.
Ephesians 1:23 Which is his body,
the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
·
The church is His body, and has been with God’s fullness or
His inheritance in a mystery form to make His glory fully visible.
·
Glory, is the revelation, first, of God’s glory within the
believer in the IMAGE of CHRIST, so that this it can then be fully manifested
through the church in the mode of glory into a lost and dying world via
spiritual gifts.
·
The action of God’s fullness when unhindered is to fill
every portion of every believer with His glory, and then to fill every aspect
of the whole world with His glory, utilizing the church.
·
As we
walk in the will and prudence of God we understand more and more the mysteries
found within the labor of Christ that pertains to His will.
·
The understanding of the mysteries of Christ,
which define the attributes of His labor within us, in this case the attribute
of His will, is called the spirit of revelation. A mystery is something that was once hidden but is not revealed
to our understanding with the objective that we will execute it fully to
produce the glory of God.
·
The
revelation of a mystery is our understanding of a portion of God’s inheritance.
Our understanding of a mystery becomes one of God’s riches. We carry out the
riches of God into the external world through one a spiritual gift resulting in
God’s glory.
·
The
more that we understand the mystery of His will, and execute in the riches that
make God visible the more that we will live in the superabundance of God.
v Obedience, riches, revelation,
participation, through the fellowship of the mystery, the work of the ministry, building up into more revelation, more
riches and so forth. This is the unending function of the church.
10
That
in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in
him:
·
A
dispensation is defined as the administration or the management of a house or
property. In God’s management or
administration that focuses on the fullness of times, He will sum up all things
into and for Himself.
·
God uses His
saints, His church, to make manifest, progressively known, and effectively
operational within the universe the ongoing activity and consummation of this
part of His administration.
·
For this
purpose we have received the fullness of God, His inheritance in us, so that
through us may be manifested, and may be made operational this part of God’s
administration in the saints.
·
The purpose
of manifesting God’s glory to the universe through the church is that God may
be progressively known, as the church walks in prudence, by the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation, so that in this knowledge of God by the church, He might
gather in one all things in Christ.
·
God uses His
saints, His church, to make manifest, progressively known, and effectively
operational within the universe the ongoing activity and consummation of this
part of His administration.
Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his
calling, and what the
riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
·
The saints
therefore are the element in which God’s fullness is deposited, energized and
made known as riches in the mode of glory. The manifestation of God’s glory is
the effective external manifestation of God as gather in one all things in
Christ.
·
The hope
of the calling is the call and invitation of God that is received with total
obedience. When the call
is received with obedience and ministry is accomplished in oneness and
identicalness to the Spirit it becomes an effectual call, or a call that is
full of the powerful energy of God to make it effective, operational and
accomplish what it is supposed to do through us.
·
The hope
of our calling becomes a reality through each saint’s obedient response to the
call of God. The hope of our calling is
based then upon an effectual call; or to those to whom God’s call has come with
effect. It is the call of God to a
believer or church that has been answered by a totally obedient response.
·
When the
call is received with obedience, it becomes an effectual call or a call that is
full of the powerful energy of God to make it effective, operational and
accomplish what it is supposed to accomplish through the saint.
·
The
transferred riches, which inside the believer were part of God’s inheritance,
now empowered externally by the operations of God are made visible as the glory
of God.
·
Praise to
God is extracted by this revealed glory in the sphere of the saints.
·
The normal
mode of God’s labor in us as we walk in prudence is to produce abundance and
superabundance. In proportion to how we
follow Christ’s labor in us in wisdom and prudence is the same proportion we
will live in the realm of “SPIRITUAL
AND NOT USUALLY MATERIAL” abundance and superabundance. This is the normal mode of God’s operation.
Eph 4:12 For(INTO THE FELLOWSHIP) the perfecting of the saints( mended, repaired, furnished and equipped) for(INTO) the work of the ministry,(INTO THE MINISTRY AS PERTAINING TO GIFTINGS, MINISTRIES AND CALLINGS) for the edifying of the body of Christ:
v
He gave the five-fold ministry as gifts. To bring all of
the members of the church to the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ so that we may come into the unity of the faith.
v
Through them
all of the members should be made capable of performing their several parts in
order that the whole church may be built up in its completeness. For the
purpose of furnishing every believer for their particular service and their
particular contribution in building up Christ’s body. It is
the view to the full equipping of the saints.
Only then can the fullness of the glory of God be brought.
v
Perfecting: to mend as mending the
holes in a fisherman’s net.
v
To outfit, equip, repair.
v
The
equipping is to put every believer into the particular work of his or her
office or ministry. It is the endowment of believers in any
local assembly with all that they spiritually require to become fully equipped
and successfully carry out their ministries and callings.
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of
the stature of the fulness of Christ:
·
In
verse thirteen the Greek word “unity” is defined as unanimity.
This refers to harmony that has been created through agreement on spiritual
issues. For us to achieve practical
unity as believers upon on earth, we must reach a point of spiritual unanimity. This is an issue of the spirit. We must become one in spirit. I believe that unanimity of the faith can be
only achieved through believers that have allowed the cross of Christ to touch
and transform every part of their lives.
As the cross of Christ kills off what is of the old nature, the Lord
Jesus is revealed and created in the believer.
Unanimity or unity comes about because there is the “One and Same Man
Christ Jesus” created in all of us.
Unity among believers, is really unity into the revelation of the same
Person Jesus Christ dwelling in each of us.
“and of the knowledge of the
Son of God” . Here we find the same word “epiginosko;”
the complete, thorough and accurate knowledge.
“unto ( or into) a perfect man.” This is why is says that the church is man. Who is
this perfect man? This man is no one
else than Christ Jesus Himself. The
word perfect describes a fully-grown man.
Unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ is
the description of what makes this man perfect.
·
The
measure of the height or stature of the perfections of Christ, is this perfect
man. The church, made up of believers must represent this perfect man.
v
Until we arrive at, or attain to.
All members must come to their proper unity and maturity.
v
Oneness of faith
in Christ, and into a full and accurate knowledge of the Son of God.
v
Participation and peak efficiency in ministry brings us into a mutual
vision, and understanding of our faith in Christ or the particulars of our walk
with Christ. Our comprehension and
oneness in the particulars of our walk with Christ brings us into an oneness of
revelation of the Christ.
v The glory of God
is displayed through the efficiency and activity of each members, obedience and
ministry before God.
v The person of
Christ is revealed in the local body and this brings us into a and accurate
knowledge of the son of God
v The fullness of
the knowledge of the Son fills that body with all of His fullness.
v
As the fullness of Christ is revealed and we come to know and understand,
we all grow up into the maturity of God.
A perfect man is a full-grown man. The church as a full-grown man can
fully bring forth the glory of God and subsequent revival.
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
·
Greek: By the “spiritual dice playing” of men in which they work
around you with the goal of implementing the methodology or a “system” of
error. (From the word for a “planet” or one who wanders)
·
Talk about the problem with
the Western church
v “children”-
Infants, and other minors that are immature and untaught.
v Tossed to and fro - dashing or surging waves. In changefulness and agitation the infant is
carried about by every wind of or degree or doctrine.
v
Sleight of men Dice playing and deception.
v Instead of growing up into the revelatory knowledge of Christ, we
make philosophies, or things (debt release, miracles, positive confessions,
being blessed, prosperity) the main focus.
v Doctrines become divine truth.
Things, blessings, miracles, and financial prosperity become what we
grow up into instead of the Person of Christ.
Our growth becomes lop-sided.
v Our testimony. The church
likewise grows up into a message of selfish financial prosperity, which robs it
from the season of material deprivation that it must go through so
as to learn to walk by “true” faith,
·
15 But speaking the truth(BY CONTINUALLY TRUTHING IT OR SPEAKING THE TRUTH) in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ
·
Our
personal growth as believers, or our corporate growth as local assemblies, must
be into the person of Christ. Christ is the end, and the object, or goal
of each and all believer, and every church. This is also what it means to grow
into Him in all things. A church that reveals the Person of Christ in its midst
can grow into Him in all things. This assembly has Christ as its example and
model. As human beings we grow quickest
when we have a role model that we can observe, learn from, exemplify, and
follow. The revealed person of Christ
is our only role model. As His is
revealed, we grow into His revelation and reveal Him even more.
v Confession is an outward expression of
what is really part of us.
v Because of this, in all points of our
growth, in all the circumstances of our growth, it is Christ that fills all and
in all.
Fitly Joined Together and Compacted
Eph 2:19 Now therefore
ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints,
and of the household of God;
20And are built upon
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the
chief corner stone;
21 n whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an
holy temple in the Lord:
q
“
To fitly frame together. Greek: “To bring the joints together to speak.
To frame together the
members of Christ’s body, as parts of a building are brought together. Joining, cementing, and fitting and raising
together a building in all of its parts.
q
The
church becomes the Holy of Holies unto the Lord as all of its members perform
to their peak spiritual efficiency by their callings, ministries, giftings, in
a sphere of uncompromising obedience.
Every one must participate through obedience whether in a stage of being
mentored and raised up or actually ministering.
q
The word “fitly
framed together” pertains to the building up of the church through the
use of spiritual gifts, ministries, offices, and callings. To “fitly
frame” is the effective operations of all ministries by all
members within a local assembly. This causes the full revelation of the
Person of Christ, as His revelation is ‘fitted properly together” by the
ministries of all the parishioners.
Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and
compacted by that which every
joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
q
A local
assembly increases, and grows, as each parishioner within the local body
supplies his or her part in accordance to the gifts and ministries, which the
Lord has given to each of them. This is
what Paul means in verse sixteen when he employs the term “every joint
supplieth.” By every joint yielding nourishment and
working to its peak performance, and by means of every contact, furnished by
every believer, this supplies the body of the knowledge of the revealed Christ.
q
The Greek says: “Every
joint of supply” “To supply” originates from the root of a Greek word
which is defined as furnishing a chorus liberally with all that it needs. Every
joint of supply is each and every member of a local body as he or she
effectively supplies the revelation of the Son of God through their ministries
in order to manifest the Spirit. By every joint yielding nourishment and working to its peak
performance, and by means of every contact, which serves for the supplying of
the body of the knowledge of the revealed Christ.
q
The body produces self-growth and self-building up. This
self growth and building up is limited to the measure of the energy put out by
each member of the body as each one supplies to the extent of fully supplying a

“According to the effectual working in
the measure of every part” .
1.
EVERY”
parishioner has the responsibility to work within a congregation at his or her
“PEAK LEVEL OF SPIRIT LED PERFORMANCE”.
This requires uncompromising obedience to God, and dedication to the
local body
2.
According
to the working in due measure of each several part . Greek
paraphrase: The
revelation of Christ is limited to the energy (that will make His
revelation fully operational) put forth by the quantity and quality
of the “measure of supply” through each of the parishioners’ charismatic
ministries.
Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love,
and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the
acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
v The knitting
together comes after every member of the local church has been fit together
into a proper building for the Lord through the ministries and callings of
every individual. The believers’ hearts
are then knit together in affection.
v Knit together “ to cause to walk or step together”
·
· This oneness,
causes the fellowship to be united in love, thought purpose and vision. In combination with the effectiveness of
every member’s ministries and spiritual gifts, it will bring this local body
into a full understanding of the accurate knowledge of the mystery of the
Godhead and Trinity. This is the full assurance of understanding.
This then is the fullness of the glory of God, which should be displayed to the
world and into who the whole body as it grows into Christ in all things.
·
The
revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ allows for an assembly to grow up into Him
in all things. The revealed Person of
Christ becomes its model, pattern, or example.
Growing up into Christ allows the saints within the church to achieve
the same maturity that Christ has in the very thing that they grow fully into
Him in. The church is the only
institution that allows for people to grow fully in to Christ in all things. Growing up into our example makes us like
our example.
·
Thus the church can be
seen as an entity that is in a continual process of being fitted together by
every one’s ministry and gifts, being joined together in love and intimacy, and
growing in to God’s Holy of Holies to manifest His glory within and then
without to the world.
PRINCIPLES OF THE RHEMA WORD
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in (Have the “God kind” of faith, or the faith OF GOD!) God.
q
(God is in the genitive
Greek case signifying possession; therefore it is “God possessing
something”; in this case, “God’s possession of faith”)
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I
live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by the
faith, of the Son of
God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
(Greek: The life which I now live in the flesh, I live
in faith, this being the faith which dwells in the Son of God. (Genitive
Greek case signifying possession)
The Rhema Word is The Faith of God
q
Now that we
comprehend that we are commanded to have the faith of the Son of God, or that
we must live in dependency to the faith, which the Lord owns, we need to define
what is the faith OF CHRIST?
q
The
faith OF CHRIST is His rhema word. This is a crucial point!
q
God’s rhema word is a specific word, which the Holy Spirit speaks into our
hearts when He wants to minister His purposes into a specific circumstance.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Rhema word of God.
(Greek: So then faith gets its life from hearing,
but the type of hearing, which describes faith, must be exclusively one which
comes through the rhema word of God.
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The rhema word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the rhema word of faith, which we preach;
q
q Every rhema word represents an itemized description of God’s measure of
faith, as He has tailored it for every situation in which He speaks the rhema word into. It is
therefore an account of what the Lord can accomplish within a particular
circumstance.
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing( Rhema word) shall be impossible.
q (The English is a poor translation:
Greek: For with God every rhema word has the (indwelling) dunamis power to come to pass.
q Secondly, the rhema word not
only carries with it God’s measure of faith, but also God’s measure of dunamis
power adapted for, and greater than the circumstance into which God
speaks it into, assuring God a complete victory.
q Thirdly, every rhema word reveals the Person of Christ. As Christ is revealed, the faith and power that He possesses, is manifested alongside with Him.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith
speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?
(that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that
is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8
But what saith it? The rhema Word is nigh thee,
even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the rhema word of faith, which we preach;
John 17:8 For I have given unto them the rhema words which thou
gavest me; and they have
received them, and have known surely that I came
out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father,
and the Father in me? the rhema
words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father
that dwelleth in me, he doeth
the works.
Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good RHEMA word of God, and
the DUNAMIS powers
of the world to come,
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
·
Greek paraphrase: Through faith we understand that the worlds
and periods of times that span eternity are made, furnished and equipped,
framed, and then hung (as
completed paintings along the walls of God’s eternal plans) through His rhema word,
·
Romans
3:27 Where is boasting then? It is
excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
·
A law declares to us that
under a particular set of circumstances; specific results will always come
about, without fail.
·
The law of faith operates in this fashion.
·
The voice of the Holy Spirit
wills or desires something within us.
·
His desire is translated for
us as a rhema word.
·
If we hear and obey the rhema
word it reveals Christ Jesus within us who will labor by His grace to bring it
to pass.
·
His accomplished grace in us
is translated into His righteousness, or His accomplished work of grace that
makes us Christ like.
·
This is the law of
faith! This law will never ever fail
and will allow us to overcome, become set fee, and get every single victory all
by a simple step by step obedience to the voice of the Holy Ghost apart from
our own efforts. Obedience, grace,
righteousness; all of faith, and all of the Lord.
28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds
of the law.
·
This is why it says in Romans
8: 28 that a man or woman will be pronounced as innocent from sin as the Lord
Himself, when he or she live by faith.
·
When the Christian life is
lived by the law of faith, it will produce the character of Christ
automatically.
Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
·
We establish. “We establish,” in this verse is in the present tense. This means that we make the whole of the Old
and the New Testament and what it contains for us to stand and thus be
effective from moment to moment by a life of faith.
Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
·
Blessedness: This word is defined as a
blessed happiness or a state of inward happiness.
· The man or woman of God that live by faith
come into a state of happiness which is the result of the liberty in Christ
that is produced in them by their living by the law of faith apart from their
own efforts.
The Counsels of His Will
Eph
1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh (ENERGIZING) all things after the counsel
of his own will:
·
All things energizing in proportion to the counsel of His
will
Phillip 2:13 For it is God which
worketh ( ENERGIZING) in you both to will and to do (TO ENERGIZE) of his good pleasure.
1 Cor 12;11 But all these worketh
(ENERGIZES) that
one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.(COUNSELS)
Grace and the Image of Christ
q
Grace
on the other hand, is God doing everything in us, and for us, through His
superhuman energy. Grace is something that belongs to God, because it is
associated with the person of Christ, and His revelation. Grace is exerted or
comes forth every time that Christ is present. The more is the presence of God,
the more that we will see Him act, and bless us on our behalf through His grace
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father,
and the Father in me? the rhema
words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father
that dwelleth in me, he doeth
the works.
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The rhema word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the rhema word of faith, which we preach;
q
q Every rhema word represents an itemized description of God’s measure of
faith, as He has tailored it for every situation in which He speaks the rhema word into. It is
therefore an account of what the Lord can accomplish within a particular
circumstance.
9
But what saith it? The rhema Word is nigh thee,
even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the rhema word of faith, which we preach;
Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and
his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God
which was with me.
·
By the
abundance of the revelation of Christ within us is the abundance of grace or
the superhuman labor of Christ manifested in us and for us. The more the presence of Christ within us,
the more that He will influence us, or the more that His influence will affect
us.
Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working (ENERGY), which worketh (IS ENERGIZED) in me mightily( IN DUNAMIS POWER)
·
Col 2:3 In whom are hid
all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
· Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
·
So
if Christ is indeed a treasure chest then He must contain treasures INSIDE OF
HIM, correct?
1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
§
In Corinthians 1:30 we see
that Christ has been made into righteousness, sanctification, and
redemption. Christ does not dispense
these blessings! He Himself is
the blessings! If we ask God to
make us righteous, are prayers will be only halfway answered. If we ask God to sanctify us, we have missed
God’s best.
§
God’s righteousness has
to do with the manifested or outward qualities of God that originate from His
inward holy character.
§
Sanctification [61]is defined as the progression of our being purified by the Spirit
of God.
§
Redemption has
to do with the process of our being rescued from the power of Satan, bondage,
sin, and the love of the world.
§
Christ does not
produce these things in us as separate blessings. He has been made into these attributes.
·
As
Christ becomes revealed within our lives, God’s righteousness becomes more and
more of a reality in us. It is
automatic!
Romans 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are
in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2
For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of
sin and death.
·
The
law of the spirit of life resides in the person of Christ. As Christ is revealed or we are conformed
into his image, this law becomes more evident.
When we obey Christ in the spirit, versus attempting to please God by
our efforts through the law, the law of the spirit of life “kicks in” or is
activated.
·
What is the law of the law of the
spirit of life? It is the law that
brings the life, the blessings, the righteousness, the freedom, and the power
of God into our lives. In other words,
every time that we choose to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit we activate the
blessings of God according to this law.
·
The law of sin and death is
activated at any time that we choose to follow God in the flesh, through the
law, and not in accordance to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
·
It is of vital importance for us
that we comprehend, that the law of the Spirit of life in the person of Christ
is more powerful than the law of sin and death. If we always endeavor, to serve the Holy Spirit in accordance to
His voice, the law of the Spirit of life will continue to set us free from all
sin until we are perfectly conformed or renewed into the image of Christ within
us.
·
The revelation of Christ can only be brought
by the work of the cross.
·
THE
KEY IS OBEDIENCE
·
The less that we become by the death of self,
the more that He is revealed. You can see why I am so concerned about the
present state of the church, where the cross of Christ is not being preached.
1 Corinthians 1:23
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto
the Greeks foolishness;
·
We preach Christ as being crucified : One of the gifts
inside of Christ
·
The law of the cross is energized through obedience
2 Cor 4:10 Always bearing about in
the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made
manifest in our body.
For we which live are alway delivered unto
death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in
our mortal flesh.
Phillip
3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may
be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working (ENERGY) whereby he
is able ( HE HAS THE
CAPACITY) even to subdue ( SUBORDINATE IN MILITARY ORDER) all things unto
himself.
·
According
to the energy by which He is capable and able to subordinate in a military
fashion every type of thing unto Himself.
·
One
aspect of God’s energy is to subordinate what is not of Him and then to break
down, make useless and junk what is not Him.
·
Christ subdues in a military fashion, junks, and casts out
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power (OUTWARD DOMINION)
of his might.( INNER
STRENGTH)
·
Be empowered in the Lord and in the display of outward dominion as a measure of
His inner residing strength.
· Popeye
·
Christ ability to subdue is an
absolute necessity for us, since it is the work of Christ to set us free.
·
Subduing
however, can also have a very negative connotation. Dictators, such as Hitler, Castro, and others, focused their
whole lives on the subduing of people. Christ, likewise, focuses much of His
work in subduing, but only of things that are evil and harmful to humanity.
·
In the case of evil dictators, the
subduing of peoples is called dominating, or exercising dominion over them.
This evil exercise of dominion accomplishes a power as it is carried out,
called the power of dominion or domination, in proportion to the strength of
the dictator.
1 Cor 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom
to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down ( TO CAUSE SOMETHING TO BECOME NON
OPERATIONAL AND NON WORKING SO THAT IT MUST BE JUNKED!!) all rule(ARCHE) and all authority
(EXOUSIAN) and power (DUNAMIN)
·
Jesus will give the kingdom to God and the Father only when
He shall have rendered totally ineffective (as and old car with an old
engine, that finally breaks down and ceases to function any more, and must be
junked) every type of principality and roots
sources of all evils, all authorities or jurisdictions which are not from
God, and every type
of inherent power that gives life, function, glory, and honor to evey type
of evil.
·
Then
comes the fulfillment, the achievement, and the maturity when He gives over the
kingdom to God, even the Father, when He has made useless, incapable of action,
ineffective, condemned to inactivity, and junked all types of arches, exousian
and dunamin.
Eph
3:16 That he would grant you, according to the
riches of his glory( HIS RICHES MANIFESTED IN VISIBILITY) ,
to be strengthened (STRENGTHENED WITH DUNAMIS POWER WHICH
IS MANIFESTED BY KRATOS OR SUBJUGATING AND DOMINATING STRENGTH.) with might (AS SEEN IN HIS DUNAMIS POWER) by his Spirit in (THROUGH HIS SPIRIT, AS THIS POWER IS FUNNELED
INTO) the inner man;
·
In
order that He may give you according to the riches of His glory, dunamis power
in its facet of dominion
by His Spirit to be funneled into our inner man
·
Christ is manifested in the riches of glory defined by the
riches of kratos
Principalities, Powers, Authorities
Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power ( DUNAMIS) to us-ward (FUNNELED INTO)
who believe ( CONTINUALLY BELIEVING) , according to the working( ENERGY PUT OUT) of his mighty ( ISCHUN)
power,(KRATOS)
What is the throwing beyond (homerun)
greatness of His dunamis
power funneled into us the ones believing according to the energy that is put out as
God’s inner spiritual
strength is translated into His external dominion.
·
· 20 Which he wrought (ENERGIZED) in Christ, when he raised him from the dead (CORPSE), and set him
at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
·
Which He energized (PAST TENSE) in Christ
when He raised Him out of a corpse…..
·
Working in verse nineteen, and wrought in
verse twenty are exactly the same root word; ENERGY; Working, is the noun, energy. Wrought
is the verb to energize.
Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power ( DUNAMIS) to us-ward (FUNNELED INTO)
who believe ( CONTINUALLY BELIEVING) , according to the working( ENERGY PUT OUT) of his mighty ( INNER
SPIRITUAL STRENGTH) power,(EXTERNAL DOMINION)
What is the throwing beyond (homerun) greatness of
His dunamis power
funneled into us the ones believing according to the energy that is put out as God’s inner spiritual strength
is translated into His external
dominion.
·
Dunamis power is
the inherent power within every created being, living, and non-living. God has His own inherent dunamis power.
·
This dunamis power of God now deposited in us allows for His glory
to be revealed in the saints as He puts down and renders useless all that is
not of him.
20 Which he wrought (ENERGIZED) in Christ, when he raised
him from the dead
(CORPSE), and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
·
The
definition of God’s DUNAMIS POWER was the energy that was “put
out” (in the historical event 2000 years ago), as Christ was raised up
from a corpse and made to sit far above in rank, power, and physical
distance over all principalities, powers, and might, dominions, and all
names which are named both in heaven and upon the earth.
·
This
dunamis power was once and for all energized INTO CHRIST. Because Christ lives
in us, so does this DUNAMIS POWER.
·
However
the living reality of this dunamis power, as it is funneled or manifested into
us, comes in proportion to our faith.
·
Let
us look now in more detail now the properties of the dunamis power that we have
resident within us and available to us when we walk in childlike obedience and
faith
Eph 1:21 Far
above all principality (BEGINNING),
and power(AUTHORITY),
and might,
(DUNAMIS POWER) and dominion(
LORDSHIP OR BONDAGE), and
every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which
is to come:
·
Far above in rank, power, and physical distance
·
Every type of principality – Or the
beginning of every created thing
·
We know a principality to
be an authoritative demonic being.
However, in the NT, the word principality is also used for a physical
beginning, the creation of something, and the root source of something. The dunamis power of God in Christ, and
available to us, is far above in rank and power, above every root problem such
as generational sins, curses, judgments, and the root causes and beginnings in
diseases
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and
Omega, the beginning (ARCHE)and the ending, saith the
Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and
Omega, the beginning
(ARCHE)and the end, the first and the last.
·
Authority Power of choice; liberty to do as one
pleases; jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road within a
state; the power of rule and government
· Authority is the power of choice; or the
liberty to do as one pleases, such as the jurisdiction enjoyed by a state
policeman or woman over every road and highway within the state wherein they
work. Cancer, for example has its own
authority, in that it can spread at will throughout the human body. However the
authority found in Christ’s dunamis power has an authority far above in rank
and power over that of cancer. By our words, as they are tempered or alloyed
50/50 with faith, the kingly sway, the power of choice, or the liberty of
action to command the cancer where we please, is available to us.
·
Dunamis power The inherent power in every created thing that defines it and
gives to it its life.
·
As we spoke earlier on,
dunamis power is the inherent power exclusive, to every created thing. Water, has an inherent power of its own,
which gives to it its life, and defines it as water exclusive of any another
object. Cancer has another type of
dunamis power. God has His own dunamis
power. The dunamis or inherent power of
Christ resident in us is far in rank and power above the inherent power of any
other created object. Hallelujah! When we minister, we know that Christ’s
inherent power will subordinate, subjugate and destroy the inherent power
sustaining the evil that we are ministering against.
·
The inherent or dunamis
power of something gives to it life, glory, and honor. Cancer, though evil in nature, has its own
evil glory and honor.
·
Lordship- Someone
or something which can bring into bondage.
·
And every name that identifies something for what it is
exclusive of anything else.
·
A miracle is an
OPERATION of DUNAMIS POWER. The OPERATION is what makes the work fully
operational and effective in the physical world. The DUNAMIS POWER, in this case being God’s, is FAR ABOVE in rank
and distance above all root beginnings, bondages, jurisdiction,
inherent power, and every name that is named, of anything else in
which it is ministered into.
22
And hath put all things under his feet, and
gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
· All these Christ
subordinated and subjected under His feet.
When God gave Christ be to be head over all of these things to the
church; this same power is now available to us.
Colossians 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
·
Because
in Him were all types of things were created, the discernable and the
indiscernible, there being thrones (ones reigning), kuriotes(exercising control and bringing
into bondage) arches and exousisas; all things work through Him and Into Him (
obedience and bringing Him further glory)
The
Product of Grace (Operations)
1 Corinthians 12:6
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh ( ENERGIZES) all in all.(ALL ASPECTS WITHIN EVERY OBJECT IN
HIS CREATION)
·
An OPERATION
is a work of God which is one hundred and eight degrees opposed to the working
in God as to when HE CAUSES
SOMETHING TO BECOME NON OPERATIONAL AND NON WORKING SO THAT IT MUST BE
JUNKED!!)
1 Corinthians 12:10
To another the working
( OPERATION) of miracles ( DUNAMIS POWER (plural); to another prophecy; to
another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another
the interpretation of tongues:
q
God’s dunamis power at the same time makes totally
effective and fully operational the things that belong to His kingdom. These are called “operations” or “workings’.
·
God by His
dunamis power renders non-operational, breaks down, and junks all that is not
of Him.
·
By that same
dunamis power God renders fully functional and fully operational the works of
His kingdom. Where the energy of God found in His dunamis power subjugates and
dominates and junks what is not of Him, that same energy takes the invisible
works of the kingdom, transfers or energizes them through us, and makes them
fully operational and effective to accomplish what He wants to in our visible world. This is called an operation as found
in 1Corinthians 12: 6, or a working as found in 1 Corinthians 12:10.
·
A miracle
then, is one type of fully functional and fully effective work of God in our
visible world that had once been an invisible work of the kingdom of God in the
supernatural world.
Galatians
2:8 (For he that wrought effectually(THAT ENERGIZED)
in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty(ENERGIZED) in me toward( AS I FUNNELED (His ministry) INTO) the
Gentiles:)
·
·
He
that energizes by His power into the apostles to subdue and make ineffective (PUT
DOWN) what is not of Him and make effective and fully operational (OPERATIONS)
the works of the kingdom likewise does exactly in the same way IN US today.
Hallelujah!
Spiritual Gifts
I Cor 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6
And there are diversities
of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to
profit withal.)
·
The function
of spiritual gifts and ministries is simply to the manifest the Holy
Spirit. What is so important about
manifesting the Holy Spirit? Look with
me now at John 15:26.
John
15:26 But when the Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father,
he shall testify of me:
·
The role of the Holy Spirit is to “testify of Jesus”.
·
Different
riches are manifested through the different operations of God. The operations are effective displays of
God’s power through the believer to effectively transfer the riches from inside
the believer to the external world in accordance to the specific ministerial
circumstances.
·
The
transferred riches, which inside the believer were part of God’s inheritance,
now empowered externally by the operations of God are made visible as the glory
of God.
·
Christ’s
grace, or inward labor must display itself outwardly through the believer’s
body as glory.
·
The
invisible works of the kingdom become visible through the spiritual gifts.
·
The charismatic gifts, and the signs and the wonders, are the outward
display of the energy that Christ puts forth or releases as He labors within us
(GRACE). They are displayed as operations. Charismatic gifts, and signs and wonders are
the totally effective and fully operational works of the invisible kingdom.
·
Spiritual
gifts are used to take portions of God’s inheritance that we now know as His
riches, energize them by means of His dunamis power, and make them visible as
riches The fullness of God, which God now deposited in the saints, becomes the
inheritance.
·
What makes them fully
operational is that through the energizing power of God they accomplish in our
physical world what God intended for them to perform and what they were already
in the invisible supernatural world.
·
Every
believer represents a portion of God’s land or kingdom in the midst of an evil
world, where God ruled unencumbered and displays His glory effectively through
him or her through the means of spiritual gifts as they are powerfully
energized through His operations.
Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a
minister (DIAKONOS), according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual
working of his power.(BY THE ENERGY WHICH IS PUT OUT BY HIS
DUNAMIS POWER)
·
The minister of God as a diakonos is the believer in his or
her service to God in accordance to their spiritual giftings, ministries and
callings.
·
The believer, as a diakonos, must minister step by step
with the GRACE of God, which is Christ laboring within them. As we minister
step by step with Christ’s labor, His dominion subdues and renders ineffective
all that is not of Him, so that His kingdom can be freely and unhindered
brought forth through the believer.
·
The charismatic gifts, and the signs and the wonders, are the
outward display of the energy that Christ puts forth or releases as He labors
within us (GRACE). They are
displayed as operations.
Charismatic gifts, and signs and wonders are the totally effective and
fully operational works of the invisible kingdom. What makes them fully
operational is that through the energizing power of God they accomplish in our
physical world what God intended for them to perform and what they were already
in the invisible supernatural world.
The invisible
works of the kingdom become visible through the spiritual gifts.
·
The whole Christian life is one of baptism
· Biblical baptism always entails the imbuement or submersion of one object into a second object. The submergence or immersion of the first item into a second item places the first item into the location, or inside the world or domain where the second item resides.
· Once, within the sphere of the second item’s world, this latter one can now exercise its influence back upon the first one, even to the point of changing the first item to resemble it, by permeating it with its qualities and characteristics.
· The effect of the second item working its effect and influence back through to the first item as it permeates it and changes it is called the instrumentality of the second object.
·
Galatians 3:27 tells us that we are located
in the sphere of the world of Christ, so that Christ can work instrumentally
back through us, by affecting us, to conform us to His image.
Gal
3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ( submerged into the domain, sphere,
or world of Christ’s influence and sovereignty ) have put on Christ (now wear Christ, whom as clothes
which totally cover us, influences and affects back through us to conform us
into His image.)
· I once read an excellent example on Biblical baptism. In the days of Christ there was a recipe to create a “pickled” vegetable. It was said that a vegetable was BAPTISED into THE LOCATION or SPHERE of a vinegar solution. After awhile, the vinegar WORKED INSTRUMENTALLY BACK through the vegetable and “pickled” it.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one
Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one
baptism,
6
One
God and Father of all, who is above all,(UPON) and through all (INSTRUMENTAL)
, and in (LID) you all.
·

1 Cor 10:2 And were all baptized unto (INTO) Moses in the
cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same
spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same
spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and
that Rock was Christ.
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said
unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on (INTO) him whom he hath sent.
John 7:38 He that believeth on (INTO) me,
as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that
believeth on (INTO) me, the works that I do shall he do also; and
greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Gal
5:25 If
we live in ( Instrumental (By)) in the
Spirit, let us also walk
(Greek word which
is defined as “marching in the footsteps of a soldier”) in (Instrumental (By))
the Spirit.
·
Greek paraphrase) (It is a given that we should be living our
lives not in the present day world system, but in the domain, influence, and
sovereignty of the world of the Holy Spirit. Because we are being
continually affected and influenced by the Spirit, in that influence and effect
we must march in step as soldiers so that the Spirit’s influence can go on,
deepen, intensify, and continue interrupted.
·
In
the gospel of John we find number of instances in which the Lord Jesus tells us
that we are not of this world system.
·
In Galatians
five and twenty five, we then see the apostle Paul telling us that it is a
given that we should be living in the world of the Spirit. In Galatians five and twenty-five we find a
wonderful example of location and instrumentality. We live in the world of the Holy Spirit, and
must march as a soldier in step to the Spirit’s workings back through us as He
instrumentally influences and affect us.
·
Paul
exhorts us to live continually in the world of the Holy Spirit, so that every
action of our lives becomes permeated, influenced, affected, and controlled by
the work, power, strength, and liberty of the Holy Spirit.
·
Victory and liberty in the
Lord is found in proportion to how much the Spirit can control and take over
our every action. Victory is not found
in our trying to overcome. It is found in our being submerged deep enough into
the world of the Holy Spirit so that He can influence and affect us at ever
point. We are filled with the Spirit,
in proportion to how much the Spirit is working back through us to influence,
affect, control, and overtake our every action of ours.
·
Paul tells
us in Galatians five and twenty-five that our lives must be lived BY THE
INSTRUMENTALITY of the Spirit’s actions.
Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk(
The totality of
our daily activities and the way that we conduct ourselves in them) in the Spirit) (Instrumental
(BY), and
ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Greek double negative: and it will be impossible for you to
fulfill the flesh’s strong desire through act of your will
·
Let us now look at Galatians
five and sixteen. The Greek word for “walk” is the sum total of our
daily affairs, and the ways in which conduct ourselves in them.
·
Paul commands us TO BAPTISE every affair in our daily life
into the world of the Holy Spirit so that the Spirit through His instrumentality
can affect, influence, reconcile, control, and overtake every one of those
affairs.
· THEN, AND ONLY THEN, shall we not fulfill
the lusts of the flesh!!
Being Baptized or Located in the World of the Spirit
and The Resultant Effect Back by the Spirit.
·
At a meeting several weeks ago, I saw several visions of the
earth, as a globe. The Lord told me, that this was the world of the Holy
Spirit, and that we need to live in it.
During the worship time I dedicated myself to going deeper into the
world of the Spirit. I suddenly saw
within this world the availability of everything, as all solutions to all human
needs were place and positioned in different places along the sides of this
world.
·
By the availability of everything,
I mean that all things are possible, because all things that pertain to
humanity were positioned in God’s reconciled, whole, and restored state. I saw that every disease could be healed,
and every problem had an answer, because there was no disease, but only the
completed healing of it, in the world of the Spirit.
2 Corinthians
5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
·
In the world of the Spirit,
all things have become new. This is why
every disease is healed. This is why in the world of the Spirit every problem
has the solution. There is an answer to every disease, because in the world of
the Spirit, every disease has been made new, or reconciled away from the state
of “a disease” and back into the state of the original order, which the Lord
had for our bodies.
Eph 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings (all is available to us in an accomplished state because the old has passed away and the new has come) in heavenly places (but is only found as such, in the world or domain of the Spirit) in Christ
· Looking above at Ephesians one and three,
we see the availability of every blessing in “heavenly places” or in the world
of the Holy Spirit. Nothing is lacking
in the world of the Spirit, because it has been blessed with ever
blessing. The more time that we spend
submerged in this world, the more that we will find the answers to the things
that we have been seeking the Lord for.
2
Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is,(Location: sphere or domain)
there is liberty.
· Greek: There,
where the Spirit is, and ONLY within the domain and influence of the Spirit,
EXCLUSIVE OF ANYTHING OTHER LOCATIONS, DOMAINS, OR SOVEREIGNTIES, is there
liberty.
· Two Corinthians three and seventeen tells us that only inside the
world of the Spirit will we find liberty, which is the result of the
availability of all things now in the state reconciliation.
1
Cor 12:9 To
another faith by ( Location: In the world, or domain of the
Holy Spirit0 the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by( Location: In the
world, or domain of the Holy Spirit) the same Spirit;
· First Corinthians twelve and nine is an
extremely important verse. The King
James translation is incorrect when it teaches us that we receive the charisma
or gift of supernatural faith by the Spirit.
When the Greek uses the word “ by” or “with’ it
usually defines instrumentality, or the Spirit producing faith and
healing. Though this is true, in both
instances in verse nine; the Greek grammar is not one of instrumentality
but one of location. In other
words, we receive the gifts of supernatural faith and healings INSIDE THE WORLD
or domain of the Holy Spirit.
· The more that we dwell submerged inside
the world of the Holy Spirit, the more that will begin to experience the gift
of supernatural faith, because supernatural faith, which is the faith of God
Himself, lies located within the domain of this world.
· Secondly, all things are available in this
world, because God has blessed the world of the Spirit with every spiritual
blessing.
· Thirdly, not only are all things available, but they are available
in their perfect and restore state
· Finally, all things are possible because of the gift of God’s
supernatural faith readily dwelling inside of this world.
· The world of the Holy Spirit is like a
tree (The tree of life?) This tree is full of what were once every
disease and every human problem and need, now in its restored state. We must
submerge deep enough in the Spirit to see the exact fruit that we need to pick,
get to it, and then pick it by supernatural faith, and by this same
supernatural faith release it upon the diseased fruit in the earthly
world. If we do not submerge deep
enough, either will we not see the right fruit, or will not have the
supernatural power of God to pick it, or the supernatural faith to release it
back into the earthly kingdom.
· I saw a second vision of the world of the
Holy Spirit. In this vision I became
submerged in this world as a diver does inside the ocean. I found myself, being covered over with
water as I dove down into the depths of this world. The world of the Holy Spirit has at all times the same items and
circumstances, which the external world system has. For all of us who have had
opportunity to snorkel or scuba dive, the world underneath the oceans is a
surreal world of, rocks, coral and underwater hills similar to our external
word, but in a seemingly motionless, powerless, and paralyzed state. This same effect occurs inside the oceans of
the world of the Holy Spirit. All earthly
circumstances and problems, lay powerless, and paralyzed under the influence of
the Holy Spirit. The diseased fruit of
this world lies powerless, motionless and paralyzed in the world of the Spirit.
We must pick it by God’s power to see it done and then release it into the
earth by supernatural faith.
· Thirdly, a diver in the worlds of the
oceans wears a mask through which everything looks incredibly clear to
him. I saw, that all things in the
earth, which I had seen in the world of the Holy Spirit through His spiritual
mask I now have the ability to see back through the eyes of God.
· Look with me at the mode of living in the
world of the Spirit as found in the relationship
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall
ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
·
And all type and as many things, no matter what they are, or how
great or small, long or short they are, that you may request in My Name (which
is the restrictions of my rhema word and my will) these very things I will
do in the future….
John 16:23 ¶ And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I
say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it
you.
·
You shall in any wise ask nothing of Me,
amen, amen, I say to you, that all type and as many things, no matter what they are,
or how great or small, long or short they are, that you may request the Father
in relationship to My Name, He will give in the future to you.
1 Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking ( prophetic utterance) by (LID) the
Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can ( dunamis power) say that
Jesus is the Lord, but by (LID)
the Holy Ghost
· No one can utter prophetically unless
located datively and used instrumentally (LID) back in the power of the Holy
Spirit.
· The following scriptures define a miracle ministry,
in that ANYTHING you are able to ask, and utter under the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit you will get. The one of
the marks of acting under the inspiration of the Spirit is that your are able
to believe for it in your heart. If you can believe and speak freely, you will
have it.
Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him
not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name,(Upon the foundation of my Name; LID)
that can ( dunamis
power) lightly speak evil of me.
Glory & Praise
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have

Christ is manifested in the riches of glory defined by the
riches of kratos

The Church in Action
·
Luke
5:5 And Simon answering said unto him,
Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at
thy RHEMA I will let down the net. The disciples of
Jesus had been painfully laboring throughout the night to catch fish, and had
accomplished little. This account
describes perfectly the activity of our churches. Much of our goings-on have been spent upon programs, agendas, and
committees, and little upon the guidance, strategy, and power of the Holy
Spirit through the rhema. Notice
that the “one rhema” of Jesus brought a huge catch.
·
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the RHEMA of God: Brethren, it is time for us to know that the only offensive weapon
that we have against Satan and his schemes such as sickness, bondage, and sin
is the rhema word of God. If we
don’t know how to operate in the revelatory word of God, we will never attain a
complete victory against the devil, the world, and the flesh!
·
John
15:7 If ye abide in me, and my RHEMAS abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you. Many times we take the
name of Jesus as a “magic wand” and have believed that asking in that name will
get us anything we want. My brothers
and sisters, our asking and receiving must always be in accordance to the rhema
of God. God will always honor his rhema
word since it comes from Him.
According to His rhema, our prayers will always be answered, and
we will get anything that we ask for!
·
Peter
1:25 But the RHEMA of the Lord endureth for ever. And this
is the RHEMA which
by the gospel is preached unto you. Finally my beloved
brothers and sisters; our witnessing and evangelism must be always done in the
power of God through the rhema, if it is it to be truly effective. Evangelism programs are good yes, but
without the living word spoken into the lives of every lost soul that we
encounter, the effectiveness of every program will be limited.
John 5:17 ¶ But Jesus
answered them, My Father worketh
hitherto, and I work.
q
Worketh is defined in exactly the same way that a company strives to be
successful in producing the services for which it is in business for.
·
Hitherto:
Until
now. My Father has been continually at work, producing the services that
pertain to the business of the kingdom of God in an unbroken flow, right
through all of your Sabbaths; and even now as we speak, He works.
·
And I
work: I, in like manner.
·
This is a
tremendously important point of instruction for ministers who desire to work in
the Spirit.
·
Jesus tells us
that we are to work out into the world, what the Father works into us
with exactly the same intentions, intensity, and procedures used by the Father.
Our ministry must be a carbon copy of the Father’s ministry in us. Remember that every work of the Father is
translated into a rhema word that we can understand
