Upcoming in New Mexico!!Upcoming in New Mexico!! This major prophetic conference open to all will take place in Farmington, NM. This ministry has a call bring the apostolic/ prophetic foundations of the church of Jesus Christ to the First Nations.
It will consist of 10 teaching sessions primarily focused on “Who We Are in Christ” and “Learning to Walk in Dependency to the Holy Spirit. The teaching will be expositional in nature lending from the original Greek and Hebrew Languages.
There will be a workshop during the teaching sessions where participants can take part in a spiritual gifts inventory which will assist them in discovering their gifts and callings in the Lord. Another workshop will allow conference participants to divide into small groups and activate the gift of the word of knowledge and minister prophetically to each other.
The evening sessions will be dedicated to ministry and the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in healing, prophecy and miracles. This type of conference in almost unprecedented amongst the First Nations; we pray that this is the beginning of many more.

Unconfirmed in Africa!! The annual School of Fire Prophet Conference is in the heart of Massai land. The Maasais are experiencing a modern day revival. Eighteen years ago, the Name of Jesus had not been mentioned amongst them, now they are being saved daily. This conference focuses on laying the apostolic foundations of the New Testament church model amongst the Masaais along with instruction on spiritual gifting and the fivefold ministry.
Luo land in western Kenya is the homeland of Mr. Barack Obama. Pastor Elias Onduas and the Journey to Heaven Through the Word churches, totaling almost forty, is a strong believer that good foundations in the Word of God, spiritual gifts and learning to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit are essential to the growth of this ministry.
Bringing expositional conferences to the most remote parts of Tanzania.Bishop Steven Mbata , founder of the Mt. Horeb churches in Tanzania has a vision to plant churches in the most remote parts of the country and ground them in the apostolic/ prophetic teaching of the New Testament. Tanzania is home to the highest mountain in Africa, majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Our ministry hosted an expositional conference in Arusha, one of Tanzania's largest cities, and Kisangaji one of its remotest. We desire to go back there again and also to assist this precious ministry financially.

There is a vast generation of children on revival fire for God. Apostle Jeremy Gichuru is a dynamic man of God, a Kenyan, called to be a missionary to Uganda. His home has been built totally by faith, as he and his wife have added section after section as the Lord brings in funds. His Quality Discipleship churches are being built in the same manner. Apostle Gichuru's vision is to pepper the landscape of Uganda with apostolic/ prophetic fivefold ministry type congregations. It is an honor to be associated with this man of God and to assist him financially with his church building projects.
Bringing the Healing and Prophetical Power of God to RwandaRwanda is a twenty four hour bus ride from Nairobi, Kenya. While in Kenya, the Lord gave us a burden to take his healing power and ministry of prophecy into Kigali, Rwanda. The people of Rwanda remain deeply scarred by the genocide of 1994. We have felt to just go and unleash the love, power and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ upon these precious but hurting people. Several opportunities began to materialize for us but were not actualized. Our ministry stills very much would like to go to this beautiful country and people.

Arise and Shine Ministries in Maashuru, Kenya has nine churches in the heart of Maasai land. These churches are as far as 30 miles apart. For many years the pastors have walked or rode on bicycles to minister. With our partial donation of $800.00 to supplement what they already Arise and Shine purchased a Suzuki Sierra truck.
The dire straits of East Africa! This baby was placed as an offering because his mother had nothing else to give. We blessed him and gave him back to her.
Maria Claudia Calderon is a missionary with JUCUM, (YWAM) Bogota. Her ministry feeds about 50 children who could not eat otherwise. We in conjunction with another church send her monthly support for the individual children.
When we ministered in Maasai Land in Narok, Kenya, we observed that many people had red teeth. This is due to the drinking of muddy river water. A church donated funds towards the building of a well.
In conjunction with our church, we supply the bi-annual school fees for four children to regularly attend school in Kenya. The boy on the top right, Kennedy Onduas, is consistently at the top of his class.
Two pastors rent are paid monthly.
Elias and Rosemary Onduas receive money from Jose to begin an adult reading school in Ugunja Kenya. This school, in the next picture, is ongoing from month to month for over a year now. The two teacher’s salaries are sent monthly.
This is Michael at a posha mill in Ugunja, Kenya. Michael makes corn flour so that Kenyans can cook one of their staples, ugali. Ugunja does not have a sustainable crop to bring it money due to lack of irrigation. With the purchase of water pumps to siphon water from the nearby river this problem can be solved.
This is Pastor Samuel Kinaya in Maasia land in Simba, Kenya. This day it had been raining. This is not a river! Pastor Samuel walks in deep mud (matope), two, three and four miles to minister to his congregation which is spread out in the bush. With a relatively inexpensive motorcycle (piki piki) his life would be made immensely easier and more productive. We know many pastors in this same predicament.
Pastor Joseph Ole Zapati is in the center of the picture. This tremendous man of God could not read. Can you imagine growing in the Lord without reading your Bible? We had enough funds to be able to get him started on the first phase of a reading program.
Our bathing water in Aram Kenya! For drinking water, the believers in the church in this town must walk for many miles. If several pumps and pipes could be purchased water could be funneled in from nearby Lake Victoria.
This is Ndeda Island on Lake Victoria. Ndeda is an island of fishermen. The pastor on the island, Dominick, could tremendously benefit from having a small boat and a freezer where he could sell tilapia and brown perch on the mainland.
This is our friend and driver, Patrick. We were able to assist him with funds by which he purchased this car and began a taxi business.
This is Mary preaching at Excel Girl's Christian School. This top notch Christian school built with the money of a tire executive in Kenya offers excellence in Christian education. Our vision is to provide scholarships to some of these girls.
Ten acres of land were donated to Arise and Shine Ministries with the hope of constructing a "cutting edge" apostolic/ prophetic center with classrooms and bedrooms in the heart of Maasai land where a modern day revival is occurring.
Because we physically lived in Kenya for almost two years all funds which are donated by you are channeled into the hands of pastors and ministers who we intimately know in relationship and ministry. They are all of proven character and integrity. We utilize Western Union for the money transfers and the only overhead we incur on your money is Western Union’s fees, which are minimal.
Safari Through the Word Ministries is a 501C3 tax exempt ministry registered with the State of Florida. We issue you tax receipts at the year’s end for your tax deductions. Our ministry operates totally by faith.
The extent of our projects is limited by the money which comes in to us. We live a simple life of faith so that money can flow to people of God which are in great need.
